We also know, that if "millions of yrs" were true, the vegetation that was created on Day 3 would've died without the sun, which was created on Day 4.

That's easy: the Bible. It was written like over a thosand years ago. Also people have been worshipping God a long time ago. Why would Someone who doesn't exist be so famous now? Also Ellen G White, she could see visions of Heaven, (even if it does sound crazy), yet it is true and she even wrote a book.

@togwm Bible prophecy proves God exists. Jesus said, these things I tell you before they happen, so you will believe. Well, we see end times prophecies happening before our eyes today... worldwide violence, wickedness in the hearts of men continually, the rebirth of Israel, hatred for the Jew by nearly the whole world, the Gospel of Christ going into every nation, scoffers against God's existence, etc. Iran says, they will wipe Israel off the map. It's prophesied that they will try, but fail.

She was a false prophetess... she was wrong on every prophecy of when she said Jesus would return, AND there is a literal place called Hell, where non-believers will be tormented day and night forever (not destroyed)... and a loving God has done His best to keep people from going there, by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so we wouldn't have to.

It's not a mythical tale. I believe in God very much and the fact that we are here is enough proof for me to believe He is real. I mean, come on, no offense, but I don't believe we're just chemicals or that the universe exploded from nothing and made people who feel and love.I get really offended when people make fun of what I believe when they don't list the reasons why they don't believe. I mean, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I believe, the Shroud of Turin is evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The dating of the Shroud was skewed by a scientist who didn't take in account that the Shroud survived a fire that ADDED carbon to the Shroud, giving it a much later dating. He doesn't "need" to rest: he just did, in order to establish the pattern for humans. God made the universe in the span of time that he did for the same reason: he just did. There was no need to create the universe quickly; he had all the time in the world.

@gregrutz Everything God does is for a specific reason. He spoke and things were created. He could have created everything in seconds but I believe that in God's wisdom he wanted to set up a week as an example for us. He is a God or order and structure and that is also why God didn't need to rest, but He knew that mankind would need to rest.

your right, Unlike many people who believe in one thing, I my self believe in both science and God. To me how nature functions is Gods way to create. Science is just trying to explain detail by detail how things happens but it is still gods process. Humanity should never believe in science without religion, but neither religion without science. It's that balance that can give u the understanding of how things work. 1 day in creation could actually mean millions of years, making 6 days=4,550mil

Not according to the Bible. One day means one day in Genesis 1. For example, after each day of creation, it says, and it was evening and the morning, NOT a million years. We also know, that if "millions of yrs" were true, the vegetation that was created on Day 3 would've died without the sun, which was created on Day 4.
