Leinart was spoiled his entire career at usc being surrounded by 5 star recruits and established offensive lines year after year. He shouldn't have won the Heisman. Jason Gesser should've won it that year. He had more Passing yards than Palmer that year, more Rushing yards, and more passing touchdowns. I remember alot of people where kind of scared of Carson Palmer when he was drafted because some called him a "one hit wonder" in college because he put up shitty numbers in 2000 and 2001. But boy did he prove his critics wrong. I think Palmer's story at USC goes unheard compared to people like Matt Leinart. Palmer's 2002 performance marked the beggining of the dominence era of Pete Carroll's career. Truely at great QB in my opinion.

When Carson is healthy he always ranks in the to QBs in the league. Not to mention. He has never had the offensive line that other top QBs have had. Put Tony Romo on this team n see what happens. He would've stacked the numbers higher that year if he didnt get a knee injury. Check your records, Big Ben had a passer rating of 22.6 in the Super Bowl win over the Seahawks. AND in both of those Super Bowl seasons he didn't throw for more then 20 TDs. I remember alot of people where kind of scared of Carson Palmer when he was drafted because some called him a "one hit wonder" in college because he put up shitty numbers in 2000 and 2001. But boy did he prove his critics wrong. I think Palmer's story at USC goes unheard compared to people like Matt Leinart. Palmer's 2002 performance marked the beggining of the dominence era of Pete Carroll's career. Truely at great QB in my opinion.
