Mr Yiannis Pantzos is a liar,he blow all his money in cazinos,he has also another two twin daughters age 12 and he hasnt pay monthly child support for them for ages,so Mr Pantzos, we dont feel sorry for you!!!
bloody came from banks by design for a sick ideal. DEMOCRACY WILL LIVE FROM THE EYE OF THE GOLDEN MEAN> NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. Faith, love and hope.
I'm sure the US will have its day as well, when our way of life suddenly comes to an end in the near future it will make the Argentina riots look like a Disney parade.
@blkhat117 Also, if we keep going the current way with the bailouts the revolution will make the Khmer Rouge look like a walk in the park. The sooner the government u-turns, the better.
World Socialist Website: "The fight against Papandreou’s austerity programme calls for the building of a powerful workers’ party with a thought-out, international and socialist perspective and an experienced leadership. Only the overthrow of the current regime, the establishment of a workers’ government and the extension of this struggle throughout Europe can prevent a social catastrophe. But the “Indignants” vehemently reject such a perspective."
Until we wake up to the fact that we are all members of the one human family... and end the madness of different world currencies... things can only to continue to get worse for all of us.
We have it in our power to end world poverty...
instead we continue to follow the leader, and create even more poverty !
what is occurring is more like socialism for the rich in the form of bailouts, capitalism isn't at fault. the same thing is happening in other developed countries as well, like here in the US. Sooner or later we'll be headed towards deep recessions(maybe depression), with lost jobs and higher food and energy prices, and until then a majority of people will be unaware of the disaster that is brewing now in these global markets
Greek civilisation experienced its golden years after Solon of Athens defaulted its debts to parasitic money lenders. I see no reason to believe that modern Greece will not experience the same with the right leadership and defaulting its ludicrous debts.
All this misery to bail out the banksters. Every country should walk away from this artificial so-called deficit and tell the banks to go fuck themselves!
this is whats happening in the US...the difference is that many of those suffering and struggling to make ends meet are not being covered my local media.
@chingon711 Yet again, more Americans drawing the picture back to themselves. Greece has no industry. America has some of the largest on the plannet. Greece has no fully developement its government structures. America has had 150 uninterupted years to do so. You whine about 9% unemployment yet demand lower taxes leaving government incapacitated. Greece does not want your pitty nor do we want to hear your fantasies about America collapsing just so your life becomes more interesting.
@Lordangers if you think real unemployment is 9%, not only is it proof you are clearly indoctrinated, you have got to be the biggest simpleton and deserve the brunt of a bad economy.
@chingon711 If your part of that 9% then you put your name down on the unemployment register. If you think peoples names are being removed you can quite simply check if your unemployed friends are on the list.
@chingon711 Also, the US gets to be the printer of the world's reserve currency, which creates an artificial demand for our dollars. We are the world's bankers....shhhh
@Lookup2Wakeup unless you leave on mars or something like that maybe u not paying the price. Everyone is or will be. Austerity for Greece today, taking away social security soon in the states. Unless we realise we a all in this together. not just one or two countries we will all pay the price. regards
@dharmaatdawn we were not all in it together when this was only happening to people who don't look like greeks and we are not all in it together now austerity is a way of life for the majority .. the image of the huge likeness of the people protesting was a perfect symbol for their egoism should have considered this a long time ago when people who don't look like you were suffering just imagine if you would have stepped in with a humane heart this most likely would not be the present day outcome
people who dont look like me u mean race, im assuming.
not to my defense, but many people( including me) dont understand how things work in this country and abroad. Many people dont understand that america is an empire. Everything is distorted.
when u understand how things really are, the most important question arises what can one do about it. please dont understand that majority of people in this country want to do good things. Like end wars. stop selling weapons.
our goverment doesnt lissen to us. goverments, and people who own 2% of wealth is not about people its about power.
Its up to us to take care of each other. people care and dont want others to suffer ( does not matter their race, religion, nationality). People also may not understnad the reality of things in our world, and feel helpless and hopeless because the power we up against is too great.
@yourtreat2 100% PAID PENSION by myself.......who puts the limits of early years or later years , IF THE PENSION IS 100% PAID BY WHOM IS CONCERNED??? Does jealousy puts limits?
Soon to happen in America. In Greece, the gov't promised and promised to get elected. In doing so, they created such a large class dependent on freebies from their own gov't. Now suddenly, the gov't has to cut them loose. In the end you get social unrest. Unlike the US where we have our own central bank (FED) that can just print money, countries in the EU cannot do that. When the US gov't faces the truth about Soc Sec, Medicare, Welfare, etc, you'll get the same here. Get ready.
@TheEsotericDesi Of course we have to pay back the borrowed money, but let me ask you: Do you PAY BACK MONEY THAT OTHER PEOPLE BORROWED AND KNOW ARE EATING WITH GOLDEN SPOONS?
