I've just discovered the Wingmakers material and am exploring it. This video is a great way to experience this painting. I have it on full screen and love seeing the details so clearly. Part way through, I felt a tingle of what it would be like to be in the chamber with it in person! Thank-you so much for this. Well Done!

@BEEHIVESPIRIT7 One other thought - I've pondered greatly what it is about this music and the artwork that seems to appeal to people. The music is very probably not from the same chamber as the art. I can see where if that were truly important it might even detract from the message in both. But, if the statement is true that both the art and the music is somehow encoded, then that might account for what you and others (including myself) are feeling as we visit this work.

I may not believe in the Ancient Arrow project. I may not believe in that music being somewhat "magical". But I can't say it's not beautiful.

You are kind to say so. This is my least favorite video and I've become disillusioned

about some of the Wingmaker materials myself. I never, ever would have expected this

to do as well as it has. It's a mystery to me.

Wasn't there some post modern art movement in New York in the mid-eighties which also produced psychedelic painting of a similar natue?

Awesome music very relaxing. I have just read about the wingmakers hoax, and was wondering if there are other works of the artist not credited with this work.

@neemor Much of the Wingmakers music, art, philosophy and cosmogony appeals to me but it's possible it is an extremely elaborate hoax. I do understand many of the points that are being made sighting it to be a hoax. An effort to get Mark Hemple (site webmaster) to answer some of my own questions about James inconsistencies got no response, which causes me to question it's legitimacy. The artwork is reputed to be "other worldly" and no definitive source is known other than the mysterious James.

@merhlin The wingmakers material isn't meant to be taken literally, but instead as a sort of truth shrouded in myth. The purpose is to activate the individual to begin the ascension process and wake up to their higher self. If taken literally as fact then yes, the wingmakers material would seem to be a hoax; taken as a metaphor for the ascension process then not at all

@Azeh25 I don't have a problem at all with the myth aspect when it is in fact stated to be such by James himself. However There are some inconsistencies between some of James' interview comments and the philosophies found at the wingmakers site. I am still waiting for Mark Hemple to respond to an email I sent him about just that. In my mind, this raises a question mark as to what's true and what is not. I go by my intuition and some of the information doesn't ring true for me.

I agree with what someone else (I'd read comment, ages ago, at an associated forum) wrote about the poems - they are very dark. As in melancholy, they are obviously penned because of loss. I don't mean that in a bad way personally, just that the way people go on about this stuff it's like they can't even read what the poems say. They're about separation, a very down-to-Earth separation. Even that chamber painting, of a person trying to wake another one up, points to the same thing.

Whoever did them, the paintings are really cool. They have an authentic aboriginal feel to them, like they come from the same unfallen space as 'the machine elves' (which are real). The way the wingmakers are described (eg, in the original website where they use paintings to travel through), sounds like they are the same as 'the machine elves of hyperspace'.

I would guard myself before watching or listening to this very dark energy.

(Just kidding of course.) Yes, I have a friend that loves the art more than the music. I've yet to find many who relate to the poetry but they're out there and there are multiple levels to all of it. Some watch/listen/read only skimming the surface while others submerge themselves. It's all good. We're all on different rungs of the "ladder" which is a never ending continuum. Each, being where they need to be. IMO
