So is this going to follow the cartoon movie 'First Flight' in Hal Jordan battling Sinestro or is going to be someone else? I don't follow the GL comics, but I do like DC. Just wondering.

Okay, decent trailer. I am thoroughly hyped. Plus DC (especially, as of late) has a pretty decent track record with it's franchise's movies. Let's hope it's even half as good as the animated flicks (which would be head and shoulders better than the mildly obscure Marvel character movies e.g Daredevil, Punisher, ect).

@howlbigbadwolf Green Lantern is a DC character, not Marvel! They are 2 different comic book companies. DC movies are made/owned by Warner Brothers. The Green Lantern was one of the original superheroes of all time. :::sigh:::

Okay, decent trailer. I am thoroughly hyped. Plus DC (especially, as of late) has a pretty decent track record with it's franchise's movies. Let's hope it's even half as good as the animated flicks (which would be head and shoulders better than the mildly obscure Marvel character movies e.g Daredevil, Punisher, ect).

I have to agree. He would be a perfect Barry Allen. My main problem is the fact that Hal Jordan doesn't seem fearless in this movie. If he had any doubts, then the ring wouldn't have chosen him. He turns away like a little bitch when Kilowog gets in his face.

It's resonable for him not to see why he of all people in the universe was chosen to have such great power so he'll questin, but eventully he'll become more confident and will see that he is capable of great things and eventully live to the potential the ring saw in him. It character development.

I will check this out.But I'm waiting for Ryan Reynolds to do the Deadpool movie.I think if he can bring in the big bucks for Hollywood with this movie,he can have more say in how he wants to portray Deadpool.Because I heard him say in a interview that he is a fan of the comics version of Deadpool.Green Lantern is dope too,his comics are a lot darker than how this movie is showing from this trailer.

OMG! Awful! Has DC forgotten how to make good films lately? Jonah Hex and now this? Maybe Bruce Timm and company should be allowed to make a live action movie. The animated "Green lantern first flight" is obviously a better film than this. I think we need a green light from the studio for a reboot already! Also, anyone who asks "Isn't Green lantern black?" or "Who is the guy with the big head?" Shouldn't be allowed to have an opinion.
DARK KNIGHT RISES 2012 can't come soon enough.

Same story beats as IRON MAN
overall- this summers FANTASTIC FOUR.
