It's a somewhat lighter arrangement than Raiders...more percussion and less brass. The first film's score was recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra, but after "Jedi," Williams just began using contracted musicians in London or L.A.

Just as 'Empire Strikes Back' was even better than 'Star Wars' musically, Williams 2nd score for Indy is the most fun and colourful. I love the arrangement of 'Anything Goes' and Short Round's theme sounded wonderful blasting from the speakers as they approach the palace. Williams really has a terrific sense of humour/flamboyance in his composing and writes heroic/romantic music to comare with Korngold. I still think Goldsmith has the edge in terms of action and darker/introspective music.
