  • kawadas face told the story...ohh.. fuck i cant feel my face!!

  • As raven would say, working stiff is the exact opposite of good wrestling. But to each his own.

  • @ZehFiend In Japan it's different. The big guys like Misawa work stiff because they are willing to get stiffed in return. It's a show of respect for the other wrestler. When they get into the ring they are going to give all they have. The really dangerous spots as suplexes and drivers are also stiffed, but they are skilled enough to make them look devastating while still protecting the reveiver.

  • @ZehFiend If stiffness is used to compensate for lack of skills then I agree. But that's not the case with Misawa and Kawada, two of the best the world has ever seen (they still hold the record for having the most and second most 5*matches in their career). But aside from that...this statement about "good wrestling" came from Raven? No offence but that sure sounds odd coming from a guy who's whole career consisted of him hitting people with chairs, brawling in the crowd and hitting random DDTs.

  • @Wurzelknecht Very true, but it's something Jake the Snake taught him in training.

  • I love the fact that these guys like Misawa,Kawada and Kobashi gets to ring and simply fucks everybody up with these moves.

  • is this fake? if not.... then why the hell did that guy not have his hands up?!

  • @ESCAPEDCONVICT01 its pro wrestling, of course its fake. but in japan they do real stuff like this in the ring.

  • @ESCAPEDCONVICT01 that elbow wasn't fake. Kawada fucking felt that. He certainly sold it legitimately as a real knockout blow but Puro style never holds back when it comes to strikes.

  • roarrrrrrrrrring elbow (TIGER ROARS)

  • Kawada got his whole world fucked!

  • Japanese wrestling. Badass

  • whos misawa and did that dude who got elbowed die?

  • whos misawa

  • @MusicJaiLove Mitshuharu Misawa is a japanese wrestling legend, who died 2 years ago, and no, Kawada didnt die lol.

  • Wrestling fake? i dont think so...

  • @RaMM66669 its real as fuck mate just like santi clause....hahaha

  • @yorkshirerepresenter I guess Misawa would strike you down with an elbow of his own. And trust me, you would go down.

  • The HARDEST elbow strike in the biz. Nobody in the WWE or TNA would get up from that. R.I.P. Misawa!

  • Nice defense

  • Stiff as shit

  • I hate it when WWE retards think that this elbow shot is "gay"!

  • Nighty night.

  • I Dare any sumbitch to take a rolling elbow

  • Misawa Wins! Fatality!

  • That's just a legit elbow strike.

    That would deck any muthafucka

  • I just love how Kawada sells. You can never tell if he's selling or if he's knocked out legit.

He doesn't just fall down or jump and fall. No, he crumbles to the mat as if someone turned off the power switch in his head. Just awesome. I just watched an old TagMatch of him and Taue against Misawa and Kobashi and still can't figure out if he was just selling or out cold, because for the last 2-3 moves of Kobashi and Misawa, Kawada just seemed to be dead weight that gets tossed around.

  • does any1 have the clip of him koing someone with the elbow which led to it becoming such a finishing type move?

  • Like Stan Hansen's lariato, Misawa's elbow strike is deadly

  • Misawa's Elbow=God like.

  • Im calling MIsawa's elbow the Emerald Elbow.

  • Before I started watching japanese Wrestling I never understood why a Clothesline/Lariat could be a Finisher... But thanks to Misawa, Kawada and all the others, I love to see Strike Moves such as the Uraken, The Rolling Elbow or even an good ol Western Lariat by Stan Hansen.

BTW: This is one tough SOB Elbow Miswa was throwing there. RIP Misawa, you will be truly missed down here!!!

  • There will never be another man or woman to throw a stiffer elbow than that.

    R.I.P. Misawa

  • That was obnoxiously stiff and amazing. That better have been the end to that match.

  • Yeah it was. At first i saw that and said it couldn't be the finish. But that replay, damn! This clip can't do it justice though, there was a LOT of psychology behind that last shot, cause Kawada tried everything to keep Misawa from hitting that running elbow.

  • Without the pad would have been crazy.

  • he needed the pad so he wouldnt hurt himself because he hit so hard with his elbow shots

  • sell my ass,I think that was a knock out shot

  • Kawada sells brilliantly. Doesn't mean that wasn't a wicked elbow on Misawa's part though

  • It's pretty easy to sell something when you are legit in excruciating pain from an elbow like that.

  • CRITICAL!

  • YES FPR 4 EVER~!!!!!!!!

  • HAHAHAH! TESTIFY!!!

  • FPW! FPW! FPW!

  • Kawada is the master of selling moves

he sold the Emerald Frosion, western lariats, backdrops, elbows, Tiger Drivers, and last but not least the Tiger Driver 91

  • Kawada could sell a scoop slam like it was a Burning Hammer and still make it look real.

  • That explains Kawada's peculiar orthodontics.

  • he actually got his teeh knocked out by a stan hansen lariat in the early 90s. it was freakin brutal.

  • Damn. That's another story to add to the legend of the Western Lariat.

  • lol i love the way Kawada falls

  • Best elbow ever!!!

  • That had to hurt!!!
