I know the feeling when friends move away or when my family and I moved away from my friends. I hated the fact that we moved from Hawaii to Alaska even though it was supposed to be only for a year back in 1971 but we ended up staying after my father died and my mom remarried in 1974. She and my stepfather met in 1972 when my mom and I were going to go back to Hawaii. I was being taken away from the only place that I knew and the only friends that I knew from school. We stayed in Alaska.
