When they first mentioned bringing the trams back, I thought "Great!", because I thought they actually meant a proper tram system all around the city, like they used to have, and not a single line light railway. We have all those disused railway lines that could be recommissioned, but they have to build new infrastructure instead? Madness!

I am a citizen of Edinburgh and have done straw polls as I have been travelling round the city on buses. I would estimate that 90% of people do NOT want the trams (the laughable SINGLE line!!!) Where's the democracy in that? The powers that be should partake of joined-up government and use the money to make the streets cleaner and sater. Use the money to rid the streets of litter, louts and grafitti. Then Edinburgh will truly be a city worth visiting. If I was a lawyer I would sue them all.

There's pot holes everywhere. Buses destroying old cobbled roads. Diversions that lead to no where. Arrows pointing in the wrong directions etc. Total fucking madness!!!
