I never get tired of watching wingsuit vids. Defo one of the bucketlist items. Always wondered about the limits with this. What is the slowest rate of decent that can be achieved ?
Truly a sport of inches... I can only imagine the thrill you experience in "the office" Much respect for the years of experience to get to the point of totally L I V I N!!!!
that is an awesome video! i want to try some of the crazy shit you guys get up to! around how fast do you guys get up to when you are at your fastest point in flight?
you never plan to fly close to the stalling point, and the closer you fly, the more speed and angle you want. If i aproach a slope and feel like im going to be anywhere near the stallpoint during the line, i will go for plan b at once.
in my opinion, you guys (wingsuit basejumper / proximity flying guys) are the only people who can say when they are around 60 years old, that they have really lived their lives and did the most fking amazing thing that exists on earth, you guys are admirable!
speedriding, skiing, indoor climbing, low/urban base, surfing, there is always something to do if i find the time, but generaly im just working a whole lot to get as much time off as posible in the summer season.
I'm curious, how well are you able to control your angle of attack? Can you pitch up and down or is your glide path fixed? Very impressive flying and filming BTW
Quite well, I'd say about 15-20 degrees in comfortable flight mabye, but you can go super steep if you want to. You also have a "pop" ability for a short period of time if you go very fast and steep and change angle/lift drasticly. You can more or less fly flat and almost up for a second or two if you dive enough.
2) hopp masse base, fra høye fjell, over kort tid. Først uten, så med vinger.
3) fly masse wingsuit base og hold deg current slik at du kan ha en sakte og jevn progressjon på flyingen
4) flytt grenser uten å flytte de for langt..det er kanskje det vanskeligste.
HOLY SHIT some one needs to be medicating these people! who lets them do this? is this leglle? do there familys know there doing this... i cant belive what i just saw! i think im hard! this is amazing, im going to start sky diving just so i can get around to doing THAT!
Hi :)...... from 1:06 to 1:30 what heights were you from the ground?...and do you have the helmet cam of that it would be amazing :)...please reply i am a big fan :D
@videowatcher2k8 It's not him. It's his co-pilot Jokke Sommer, look at description. If you want to see this footage, check related video "Dream Lines Part I"
Im not quit sure what you mean with ground effect. I defently get an effect from flying low over the terrain for a longer period of time, thats the only times I truly feel like im flying and not just falling with forward movement.
@HalvorAngvik When you fly so close to the ground that the wing tip vortices and downwash are broken and as a result you experience an increase in lift and reducation in drag. You have to be approximately one wingspan distance from the ground to experience the effect. A little too close for even you and Jokke i think. Stunning flying and footage from you guys as usual. Fly safe.
I thought you aren't fly so close to cliffs, it's just the effect of the fisheye lenses, but it's so close that it's seems. Really awsome vids, bra gjort!

when you fly so low, do you carry extra speed in case you need to trade speed for altitude, or are you in a stall the whole time?
