  • 2:35 Is When He Says FIRE EVERYTHING!

  • this movie was boss, this beat with movie clips is boss

  • Great movie and a great remix. I came into the new Star Trek expecting the worst and was blown away. Can't wait for the sequel.

  • @remyzero23 What made it a "great movie"?

  • @BondFreek I enjoyed the fact they breathed new life into a franchise I enjoy. I thought they did a good job of giving a nod to the past and keeping the heart of Star Trek but letting it evolve from it in the future. I would have liked to have seen some more development of Nero but I have a feeling time became the issue.

  • @remyzero23 "they breathed new life into a franchise" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! You people using that excuse is an insult to all fans everywhere!!! So the hart of Star Trek is slap stick comedy involving deadly viruses, insults, zoophilia jokes, and sex jokes. The heart of Star Trek is magic goo, magic swards, and over emotional races that lie about not having emotions. The hart of Star Trek must also include rewarding cheaters, criminals, and insubordination. OH PLEASE It was NOT TREK!

  • @BondFreek That is your personal opinion and you are entitled to it. I think you are in the minority but it doesn't make it wrong. Most people enjoyed the film and for the first time since the 80's the masses are actually going to look forward to a Trek film which is good for the franchise. Slap stick was present in the original have you seen the Gorn vs Kirk fight.

  • @remyzero23 "Slap stick was present in the original have you seen the Gorn vs Kirk fight." That was not slap stick you jerk! Because it made you laugh proves that you have no Imagination. The Gorn was a large lizard, he moved slowly but was super strong & had thick skin. Kirk could not know that the Gorn was like earth lizards till he tried to fight him. PS. It was the 1960's there were no digital effects back then & animation was expensive, so yes all aliens we guys in rubber suits!

  • @remyzero23 The Gorn costume was the most advanced rubber suit made back then. It out did the Godzilla costumes and the monsters in theatrical movies. It set the standard for monsters in the future. It even was the inspiration for making the Alien costume in ALIEN more complex than the original concepts. So don’t ditch on the GORN!

  • GR8

  • Not a big fan of this version of Star Trek, but this remix was most excellent.

  • dude, bad ass remix of the music. Loved this movie thought it was a good fresh take on the old series. Woulda like it much more without Nemoy's passable acting but he made for a good tie in from the old to the new. Thanks for the vid!

  • 7 ppl hated this. :O

  • most boring star trek movie ever

federation not even worthy of being called a paradise society

    klingon empire much better

  • @MrMysticPaladin You're entitled to your opinion. On the other hand I went in not even a fan of Star Trek with low expectations. Came out amazed at what I had seen. Best movie of 2009.

  • @ISetYourFaceOnFire you are right that it is my opinion

still don't find it worthy to be called the 11th movie

the producer took something from somebody else and changed the future

  • This movie is not just bad Star Trek but bad film making!

  • @Trekfreek

Is that why it was universally praised and the most financially successful of all the films?

    Go troll somewhere else.

  • @crazyrabbits No it was "universally praised and the most financially successful" because people with bad taste in movies out number people with good taste in movies 10-1. Let’s look at some of the biggest films to be "universally praised & financially successful"... Gone with the Wind-Historically incorrect and the story is about a woman who is a slut because she has a crush on a man she can't have. King Kong: film maker caches an ape to get rich, ape destroys city...Cont.

  • @Trekfreek

You mad, bro? All I hear is a bunch of crying from a baby who doesn't like it when things don't go his way. I've been a Trek fan for many years, and was one of the staunchest supporters of continuity on the official forums, and even I think they had to reboot the franchise. Insurrection and Nemesis were garbage and rightly killed any shot the Prime universe had of continuing.

No, it's not that "everyone has bad taste". It's that you're a fool who can't face reality.

  • @crazyrabbits 1st off I'm not your brother (except in Christ). 2nd There you go again insulting complete strangers. Didn't your parents teach you any manners? 3rd I hate to break this to you but "This is not reality, this is fantasy!" "Get in the closet!" "Go on..Go on.." 4th You may not have liked Insurrection & Nemesis but they were good films & in the true spirit of Star Trek had relevant morality tales. ST XI's moral story was be an ass hole and people will give you a command.

  • @Trekfreek

The great part about the success of ST09 is that hardcore fans like you have become a minority. Both Insurrection and Nemesis were chockful of plot holes, inconsistent characterization and weak drama. Any "morality" they had was weak and shoehorned in. I may not necessarily think the 2009 film was a work of genius, but it brought back the spirit of adventure that had been missing from the franchise since the 90's.

  • @crazyrabbits You could not do it! You could not keep to the movie. Not one of you can keep to the movie or open your trap without insulting the very people who kept trek alive for 40 years. Name one major plot hole from each of the TNG movies. You can't because there is none. As for the "spirit of adventure" where was it? All I saw was a brat getting his way, a pointed eared pussy, a quack, & a vengeful crybaby. An adventure is only good if you came away with something.

  • @Trekfreek

Forget plot holes, there were entire swaths of the TNG films that just plain sucked. I didn't mention First Contact because that was the last great Trek film.

    - the inconsistent nature of the Nexus, and Kirk's shoehorned death for no real reason

    - Soran's entire motivation for the plot

    - the way Starfleet is characterized as villains for wanting to obtain a resource in INS

    - Data's railroaded death, the Remans plot and the stupidity of the command crew in NEM

  • @crazyrabbits "Forget plot holes"? You brought it up & you can't defend it? That's sad. Kirk's death was a symbol for out with the old... It was not "shoehorned" it fit the plot. Now Tasha's death that was "shoehorned"! Soran's motivation; People will do anything even murder millions of people to get into haven, especially after they got a taste of it. INS Did you even watch where the Federation was going during the DS9 years? NEM again you got that all wrong! Watch it again!

  • @crazyrabbits You really should watch the YouTube video "The true meaning of Star Trek" It shows all the moral points of each movie with perfect clarity to anyone who pays attention. Star Trek has 2 purposes first to entertain second to make you think. The new movie failed to entertain anyone who loves stories over explosions and fights. It also has nothing to make a person think.

  • @Trekfreek

There was no adventure in Nemesis. It tried to copy STII's "getting older" theme, but failed miserably and took the entire franchise with it. Spotty characterization, stupid moments and half-assed deaths were just the start of it.

The 2009 film at least had the advantage of wiping the continuity and overburdened Prime universe plots away, and stripped the material down to its bare essentials. The story was seen as a high point - it was fun without being overbearing.

  • @crazyrabbits You missed the point of Nemesis completely! It was not about getting older, it was roads not taken. We all think to our selves (no matter how old we are) "If I was raised a certain way would I have come out different?" Picard was not feeling old he was feeling scared of his darker half which Shinzon seemed to reflect "I'm a mirror for you Picard." The adventure was the beginning of a better universe with the Romulans & Federation cooperating. XI=nothing!

  • @Trekfreek There was no point to Nemesis.

  • @starsiegeplayer Oh really? So you did not think that pointing out the argument of nature vs. nurture was a point about the human condition? That's what Nemesis's story was about. 2 virtually identical people being raised totally different from each other. 1 turns to evil and revenge, the other grows up to be a good man who explores the galaxy. No there is nothing human about the debate between nurture and nature... OH Wait! There is!

  • @Trekfreek There was no point. It just pretended to try to have a point, which is quite different from actually being relevant. I'd suggest you watch RedLetterMedia's review of it.

  • @starsiegeplayer NO! I’m not going to listen to some hack who never took a film class in his life & tells everyone that what is popular is good! A review means NOTHING without some schooling to back it up! I took film classes, & I have studied film on my own & I made films! If you don't know how to pay attention to a movie then I suggest you rewatch the scene where Picard is talking to Data in the astronomy lab. It is in that scene where the point of Nemesis is explained.

  • @Trekfreek If the point of a film has to be has to be explained in the film, then it's not really making a point. It's like trying to give character depth by having people talk about a character instead of defining the character by his or her actions: It's lazy, it's fake, and it's hack. And in the case of Star Trek... it's just an enormous crushing dissapointment.

  • @starsiegeplayer OH Really? Then name one movie where there is not an expose' for those who just can't see the moral, or point in a film. ST:TMP? Nope Spock talks to Kirk before they confront V'Ger for the last time. TWOK? No again! McCoy and Spock's argument. Serenity? Nope they had a whole 5 minute explanation about the point of the film. I could go on but you get the point, or maybe you don't. After all you missed the point of Nemeses and it was right on your nose!

  • @Trekfreek I didn't miss any point to the movie. You are not listening: I get it all, but it's still a BAD movie. You seem to be unable to accept that someone can get the "point" and find it a piece of junk. Perhaps you have some sort of emotional attachment to this film, in which case you need to get over it. Your likes and dislikes of entertainment do not define the content of your character, so criticism of things you like are not personal attacks on you.

  • @starsiegeplayer Nemesis wasn't a good movie. But it was about something. $tar Trek by Abrams is Nemesis twin brother: it had bald, psychotic, Romulan miner who have uber- ship, magical technology and who want to destroy Earth and the Federation without good reason. Only $tar Trek is Nemesis retarded brother - where Nemesis was trying to make statements about human condition, $tar trek is only interested in sex jokes, flashy lights and pointless action scenes

  • @1701EarlGrey interesting.

  • @starsiegeplayer WHAT?! We were talking about what makes a movie good or bad not how I perceive things as personal attacks or not!!! You may not like Nemesis, neither do I, but that does not make it a bad movie! The definition of good movie bad movie is not based on taste but on if a movie's parts work together or if they clash. In Nemesis everything worked together where as Star Trek XI nothing worked together. Didn’t you ever take a writing class in high school or college?

  • @starsiegeplayer Also I asked you to name one movie where the moral point is not explained in a scene and instead of responding like an adult you turn it into a personality judgment cook off! What is wrong with you? THERE JUST MOVIES!

  • @BondFreek what movies doesn't need to explain the moral issue? You mean like Full Metal Jacket, Dr. Strangelove, or even TV shows like Babylon 5, need I continue?

Why do you enjoy losing arguments over points you don't have?

  • @Potrimpo Sounds to me that you just lost your own argument. First off Dr. Strangelove was a parody of a movie called Fail Safe. And it copied the moral explanation scene almost word for word. Full Metal Jacket also had a moral explanation scene, watch it again; look for it! Babylon 5 always had a moral explanation scene especially the final episode for the shadow war. Only a person who is more interested in explosions than plot will miss those obvious scenes as you have done.

  • @starsiegeplayer PS. believe it or not Nemesis made a bigger profit than Star Trek (XI)AKA Star Crap: Shitting on Gene Roddenberry.

  • @crazyrabbits STXI has no adventure it is just all the catch phrases and hand jesters rehashed with 90210 casts for the crew. Nemoy should have read at the end of the film "To boldly go where we have gone before & this time screw it all up to make Trek look like Star Wars!" The "overburdened plots" was what made Star Trek Star Trek, without them their just another over acted, over budget, flashy, no substance, Tom Cruise action movie. P.S. Tom Cruise's movies have better stories.

  • WTF r u talknig about. I myself could have saved 4,000 lives just one day if they weren't so fucking sad they opened the door. Not to mention "collateral SAD"...

Come back to bed, hon.... defense dreamning either of them survived themselves again.

  • HEADS up! SAD display. Enourmous display of SAD, Inbound.

    I'm going to bed...

  • >:O Was that DayVids?

    What?

We saved more than 800 lives. Let's go back to bed. That WAS sad though. SAD everyone, "SAD" , all around SAD. Took each other out again. SAD.

    Come on...

  • great work my friend

  • I agree with skmit07, you have to let us download your song version

  • Is there somewhere I can download this from?

  • Absolutely incredible. Great Job!!

  • how did the enterprise get back home, when they had just ejected there powersoure??? did they float around aimlessly in the void for a bit???

  • @jesusfreek103

With the whole situation dealt with, they could have easily called for assistance in any case.

  • @jesusfreek103 They were in the solar system. It's like a few weeks travel at 25% light speed which is max impulse.

  • @jesusfreek103 that's just the warp core. They still had impulse power

  • You know what would be sweet? If someone took the 2009 universe and made a series out of it, like Battlestar Galactica or Torchwood.

  • @notablegoat and what would be much different then what the prime universe already has? aside from loosing vulcan and the vulcans themselves loosing most of their population, i dont see the federation changing too much. they would still go out and explore space, meet new races, and simply follow along as the prime universe has. it would be different if spock gave them all the tec know how that he has stored in his head. that would be interesting.

  • @Dragonchaos666 I think a ton would be differant! Lets think of the Trek universe as a real universe, with it's own socio-economic landscape. The near-extermination of a major political power (the vulcans) would drastically change the standing of every other political power. As for the Vulcans themselves, they would now face the tremendous task of revitalizing their population. Aside from that, new characters and new motivations for old characters would arise. The world would be very differant!

  • @notablegoat I when you put it that way, it sounds like this could be something to get into. from what im thinking , it may make the federation more of an isolationist type power such as the romulans, less willing to explore and more into defending what they already have, so that another world wont go boom. it has merit. thanks for the idea!

  • @Dragonchaos666 That's certianly a possibility, though you have to consider that the federation would be aware of the cause of the destruction of Vulcan, and thus would be aware that it is unlikely to happen. Still, you could make it work if your clever with it, it's a great idea! Perhaps, alarmed by the knowledge of their world's imminent distruction, the Romulans search for a way to save it or a new world to colonize. Mass panic could lead to a power hungry individual or group taking control -

  • @Dragonchaos666 (part 2) -of the empire, and leading it on a fear-driven campaign against other federation worlds in the name of survival of the Romulan Species. Given that Romulus is an ally of the federation and is driven by survival, nations might surrender their worlds to the Romulans to avoid violent conflict. The Romulans in power might then continue to expand their control through violence unchallenged, until the Federation finally confronted them. Essentially, WW2 a la Star Trek.

  • nice job really liked it.

  • Lol the comments are funny :)

How much more stupid can people X)

  • Yeah, looks like I've angered another Zionist.

  • @Chris9183 was that your only intention? to try and anger people? i thought you might have been more interesting than that.

  • @Chris9183 Pathetic troll is pathetic.

  • Thumbs up if you came from a comment " FIRE EVERYTHING" on Two Steps From Hell on YouTube

  • Любииимая моя..)

  • Decent video you made here. I couldn't stand the new Star Trek though...way too Jewified/Hollywoodized.

  • @Chris9183 I'm Jewish. You must've meant Hollywoodized (I agree). Racisim/Religious slander is still illegal online. Also, the original Vulcans were supposed to represent Jews, so it's Anti-Jewified Trek. That was neither funny, nor factual.

  • @Idazmi7 Racism and religious slander is not illegal online. The internet is a free world, get used to it hooknose. I know your kind is desperate to change that, but good luck succeeding.

  • @Chris9183 My nose is just fine. Also, you are a Nazi.

  • @Idazmi7 Well, not exactly a Nazi, although it seems Nazi Germany at least saw the Jew for what it is.

  • @Chris9183 Also, this comment looks REALLY bad...

  • @Chris9183 Tough talk for someone who will not post their address. If you did, you would know how illegal it is.

  • @Idazmi7 If I posted my address, the law wouldn't get involved, but plenty of Zionist-brainwashed liberals (worthless Goyim to you) are the ones who'd probably do something, so no, I won't post my address. Be warned, however, the time is coming when my "Goyim" fellows will see what's happening to them, their families, and their lifestyles, and...well, we know what Germany did when they had the same realizations. We just won't make the same mistakes they did.

  • @Chris9183 Under Hitler, The Germans hated everyone except Germans. You are *already* making the same mistake. Also, who do you think I am? I did not say: "Goyim must die", or "Zionists suck" or anything else. I was watching a Trek video, you idiot. And you're still a wimp for not posting the address. You also show your true color as a Nazi, or Nazi wannabe. You said the film was "Jewified", explain HOW.

  • @Idazmi7 It's Hollywoodized, as you yourself admitted. Hollywood is controlled primarily by Jews, as is the mainstream media, and banks. Therefore, Jewified is just my word for Hollywoodized. As far as your other assumptions, they aren't worth my response.

  • @Chris9183 Hollywood? Run by Jews? Surely you jest, moron. The rest wasn't worth your response because anything you say that wouldnot contradict you would make you look bad. You ALREADY look bad.

  • @Idazmi7 Hollywood, mainstream media, and most major banks (including the federal reserve) are indeed owned by Jews. I'll reply to your assumptions simply with the fact that your comparisons between a Nazi and myself are incorrect, as I don't want any Jews killed. I just want them relocated to Israel, by force if necessary, but preferably nonviolently. Everyone has the right to be with their own kind, and to prosper and pursue a clean life among their brethren.

  • @Chris9183 Fairly good recovery. You still look bad, but that's your fault. I'll leave ye alone, now.

  • @Idazmi7 The truth often looks bad to the masses...but it never changes the fact that it's the truth.

  • @DLascelles2 Thanks for holding back your opinion of me, my feelings might have gotten hurt. Opinions of anti-white, anti-Christs like yourself really hold a lot of water.

  • @Chris9183 I hope you appreciate the irony in that comment. you do know that Christ was a Jew? Do you get confused often?

  • @DLascelles2 Are you becoming angry? You seem to be getting angry.

  • @Chris9183 interesting comment. Having read your previous posts, i'd say that your anger is being projected outwards so that it becomes all that you see. To anwer your question, am i becoming angry? no,

    amused?.... yes

  • @Chris9183 Pity your "truth" has little fact. A fact is that in forced relocations, violent or otherwise, the relocated community are at increased risk of poverty, abuse and discrimination. Also, your logic makes no sense. If people were forced to return to "their own kind" the US would be faced with the relocation of every non Native American (Indian, to clarify for you) the USA would become an empty place. Freedom of speech is a right though, but... I think I’ll hold back on my opinion of you.

  • Awesome mix, but i think the video could use more lens flair.

  • Kirk gets his ass kicked a LOT in that movie

  • @RedneckRapture Well, he does fight 4 guys at once, then every person he fights after that has the strength of 7 humans.

Is there anyway to download this??? I would love to have this on my Ipod!

  • Awesome!!! Very Well Done!

  • damn man you really did put this together extremely well.

  • Dude, I LOVE IT!.

  • Venting aside, both this movie and this video are top notch.

  • @Potrimpo thanks mate

  • More related to Star Trek 11, but every time I see some sort of criticism against this movie, this masterpiece, as to how they really screwed with Star Trek, or how this is not Star Trek because of this or that, guess what? Look back upon Star Trek: The Legacy and their claims are pretty much invalidated.

And one troll on here, Bondfreek/Trekfreek, same douche, claims he's an expert, and there's an embarrassing amount of fault in his knowledge and understanding of Star Trek.

  • well structured editing

  • @sertronasora thanks bud

  • This is incredible!

I LOVE the ending, when it zooms out from kirk and spock, then the drums stop, and we just get that long shot of the enterprise!

Mind posting a link to the mp3?

  • Awesome

  • And oh yeah 5 words.....you don't fuck with Sulu

  • I wanted to press the back button like 5 or 6 times I really did. There was a scene I was looking for and this wasn't it. But I just couldn't because this is some epic made shit right here.

  • Great vid man

  • I love that line "Fire everything!" It's one of the best in the movie aside from the part about Kirk's father being the captain for 12 minutes. The actor said it so well, pulled off the desperation perfectly and the words were brilliant too.

You troll around complaining about other peoples You Tube videos & what they are discussing. I think that's even more pathetic.

  • @fmscribs, So I am the miserable one....you sit behind a keyboard, complaining about a movie, as if it were real. you try to impress people by discussing the technical aspects and science of Star Trek, like they were actually happening.

Your trying to sound inteligent on the internet, by tearing down a movie that was probably the second best Star trek movie of all.....because you did not like it....really? and you call me pathetic...

you are a sad soul, but you make me laugh...thanks.

    No, I call you pathetic because you have gone on other YT videos and made the same obnoxious comments to other people. {I've seen your comment history}

    That's why.

I'm just criticizing a movie that I have opinions on.

  • @fmscribs, yes unfortunately youtube is filled with idiots like yourself..that pretend to be intelligent and complain about the "inacuracies" of a movie that totally fantasy...you argue that you cannot talk while skydiving, especially on the planet Vulcan" as if there really was a planet Vulcan....
