  • Enough of the petty arguments, lets just all agree this man was a hero in the great depression,

  • Dillinger was amazing!

  • Different times, different people.. Has nada to do with rap music, dumbasses, nonetheless dillinger was THE man

  • funny how gangstar rappers always steal nicknames from old school gangstars e.g. daz dillinger, 50 cent, Scarface, Biggie Smalls, etc

  • @orbital92hotmail, suck my dick you racist baby rapist. Do you know what a nigger is by definition? Of course not. You're just a dumb ass who is stilk in the closet.

  • John Dillinger had German origin , like Walter and Homer

  • john dillinger is my cousin's grate grandpa and my cousins last name is dillinger

  • @TheKingCameron evidence or its not true ;d

  • @CryExXx i promise my cousin is on youtube check him if u dont believe me his name is ParacinemaPictures his real name is blake dillinger. ask him comment that on his channel if its true or not he'll say yes.

  • John Dillinger was not Italian-American.

  • is really strange... listen speak of mafia and we italian has nothing to do...XD

  • Thumbs Up if Public Enemy got you here

  • @evhezm333 thumbs up if you think these thumbs up begger are fags

  • john dillinger look crazy i would not be around him look at those eyes.

  • anybody notice the commentator saying dillinger funny?

  • @TheMastaN1 no that did'nt say that u fool.

  • get along little dogies get along get along get along little dogies get along.

  • Fuck FBI .

  • Great , Great flick! thank you for sharing this. It brings me back!

  • Dillinger was a hero. J Edgar Hoover and the banks were the real criminals.

  • @aidenmccloskey Im not saying dillinger was the villian in all this but, I dont know much about his depression story, could you explain what j. edgar and the banks did to be called "criminals"

  • @MrSherlockWatson It's all a matter of perspective. J. Edgar Hoover was supposed to uphold the law, but he was one of the most corrupt bastards who had power when he shouldn't have. Hoover did great things, but he also lied to the people, conspired against Martin Luther King Jr. among other activists. Hoover tried his best to silence free speech. In the 50s he turned a blind eye to the American mafia. He led a poor investigation into the assassination of Kennedy. I'll personal message the rest.

  • I just bought "Public Enemy" Blu-ray and come to realized that they shoot the film almost in the same location. The people are as the same except for Johnny Deep. He's really talented but he does not resemble John Dillinger at all. Who do you all think should play the roll of John Dillinger next time?

  • wtf why u guys like gangsters the rob and steal people if you where the ones killed ha still like him

  • I barely just got done watching Public Enemy and wow...I didnt want him to die already knowing his faith..its sad for the people who were killed in his altercation but this guy was a badass. I actually had to pause the movie just to close my eyes and wonder myself in the 30's. Hair slicked back getting my shoes shined...It felt all to real.

  • let's be honest, Dillinger was the shit, but the FBI were pretty easy to evade back then. There are sooo many stories to be told about their screw-ups (Kansas city massacre anyone?) and mistakes. Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Pretty Boy Floyd, and the Karpis/Barker gang all took advantage of this. (And no, i don't include Bonnie and Clyde because they were not even close to the status of these four). I love the movie (despite its inaccuracies) but its so hard to watch it knowing their fates.

  • They damn well were heroes... corporate banks are the criminals.. I'm glad Dillinger and his crew robbed from these goofball thiefs!

  • "bye bye black bird."

  • fuck 2011, if john dillinger lived today, he'd be tweeted about, have a facebook page, and be found on four square. thats no way to live if your day job is a bank robber.

  • What are they saying in the interview where dillinger was arrested....id love to know

  • Gotta Love the vintage music that was in the news!

  • i am a distant relative of baby faced nelson :D cool or what lol

  • @mgfnfgf not cool

  • @metal220 course it is you sad act

  • It's wild how they downplay the FBI failure at Little Bohemia, a total farce where agents killed three innocent men.

While the narrator seems to be mispronouncing Dillinger's name, Dillinger's father maintained that it was prounounced with the hard G sound.

  • This guy was a true gangster, guns, robbing banks, murder, and did it with a smile to the camera! That's a real gangster!!!

  • See this guy you gangsta rap fucking pussys?? These guys were REAL gangsters.

  • @Vroktar2009 well a nigger will shoot anyone. Thats the difference.

  • @Vroktar2009 hahaha VERY TRUE..even more so these gang bangers running around in cali dont understand the meaning of organized or or true gangsterism

  • @Vroktar2009 Dam straight those fuckheads should be raped with a toilet brush lol!

  • @SatanicRides

i'm with you on that one! lol

    these are REAL men.

  • What a fucking BAMF. John Dillinger was a true inspiration. Not those thugs who hold up liquor stores and murder innocent people

  • JohnDillingerstolemyspacebar

  • Is there any video that actually has the legend talking......where the fuck can i find that?

  • johnny depp could conect easier to the character because his stepfather was in the same prison dillinger was. depp's grandfather was also a bootlegger

  • @wolfertje123 Ya that's some wild shit. Depp even wore Dillinger's pants, it's in the special features, crazy! I don't think anyone else coulda played him that well.

  • He has the same enitials as Johnny Depp. :)

  • @smileandwatchJohnnyD Maybe thats y johnny depp plays him in Public Enemies

  • @Cheezitz37 Yes that, and the fact that Johnny Depp can play anyone and anything and make it perfect. :)

  • I really don't think john dilinger died on that night. He was smart, and I think he knew it was a trap. They couldn't identify him at a 100%. And if you believe that he didn't die on that night. Well think of this. Melvin Purvis suppositly shot himself. They couldn't say if it was suicide or not. But what if it was John Dilinger that wanted his revenge. Melvin organized almost all of the operation that killed his friends. That's what I believe happened.

  • you can see the blood coming out of his eye

  • He is so charismatic

  • RIP JOHNNY D..

  • any one knows were i can get a movie about baby Face Nelson or some1 who plays him buttt more specifically a documentary from "baby face" thats from another source not youtube? some1 plzzz help

  • My idol.....i love the movie public enemy. Johnny depp play him perfect

  • @Markt357 fact was it wasnt the true story.. he didn't die the way he died in the movie, shot totally different and a few other details were off

  • @Markt357 My idol too, I went to this museum in Lima and saw the jail cell he was in awesome.

  • john and i would have been buddies! rip.

  • supposedly J. Edgar Hoover went through the roof upon seeing this newsreel footage of the prosecuor with his arm around John Dillinger, and Hoover was successful in ruining the prosecutor's political career.

  • Well im a gangster 1934, junkies, winos, pimps and whore and all you men women and kids. Best get out my way.

  • 2:16 ...Dillinger? Dill-Ing-Er? i think you mean Dill-In-Ger...dumb ass haha xD

  • Polly Hamilton was not John Dillinger's girlfriend. She was just an assosiate of Anna. His girlfriend was Billie Frechette

  • First time for me hearing about John Dilinger, probably because this video is not from my time.

This movie it seems is from 1934, I wasn't born until 1969

  • @asoka2000 so youre 42 and youve never heard of john dillinger?? That's scary!

  • @jeremyc311709 Well I don't listen to the news about every murderer out there and even if I have heard of him I don't remember. Do you know who Clifford Olson is ? Probably not right?

  • i dont know why i like him. but he is entrancing

  • I am from John's Indiana... Doing time here was not fun My crime Drug Store Armed Rob. and Like me John Never Killed.. Job Safety first... Paroled from Michigan City 1980.

  • es mi abuelo, y lo admiro, mi apellido es dilliegros, es una variante el apellido italiano es d liegro

  • Baron Lamm is more beastly.

  • The guy that robbed banks in 1min and 40seconds flat haha..

    R.I.P John Dillinger!

  • man john dillinger was the shit back then he always made the fbi look stupid i dont think he died bak in 1934

  • Awesome Video! Thanks

  • 2:01 how could they broadcast the dead bleeding body of dilinger on the coroner's desk (or whatever that is) for everyone to see??even little kids could watch that on tv,and it was real not a movie like manhattan melodrama....jeez,werent they ruthless...

  • WOW!

  • This is an awesome Youtube video(: <3

  • @souskeaizen100 my great grandpa used to work with him as a bootlegger

  • We're gonna rob banks ya see. and kill cops ya see.

  • @killyoubitch27 he only killed 1 cop and it was an accident, he ment to shoot him in the leg but the guy ducked

  • John Dillinger is the most bad ass person to have ever walked the earth.

  • Modern day robin hood. Banks are the poison of our world.

  • what year was dillinger runnin ro

und hittin licks? was it round tha same time as capone?

  • Handsome fella.

  • dillinger is related to me (: haha

  • The G men didn't have the smarts to tie there shoes. They lost dillenger twice! It was just luck that they got him.

  • public enemies is a very good and realistic movie

  • this was one balsy mother

  • In the film John is portrayed as a hero but that's far from the truth, he killed people, innocent people. If someone did that these days none would say he had class

Did you know when he was 13 he took part in a gang-raping of a local girl

Where is the class in that?

  • @Herbsandspices100 their are no good guys or bad guys, but i hate the law more john dillinger was a criminal and accepted that, the government steals and kills people and justifies it as protecting us, those cunts deserve to die like dillinger.

  • Holy shiz the Nelson dude is related to me D:

  • He was a brilliant man... him and Lucky Luciano but Dillinger was a gentleman in every sense.

  • "Its no crime to steal from a thief"

    - Proverb

    RIP John Dillinger

  • @psychonaut33 fuckin' right he is!

  • i nkow but it's still stealing :( poor johnny dillinger

  • @psychonaut33 but he killed someone didn't he?

  • Straight G. Fuck Snoop-Dog and Little Wayne.

  • just watched the movie and yea this guy had real swag, lot of kids mis interpret swag.

  • thumbs up if public enemy got you here

  • @evhezm333 Public Enemies was the exact title, not a mistake since he wasn't the only character, his gang of outlaws were featured in the film as well.

  • @evhezm333 Thumbwhore >.>

  • Haa all boutt Johnn dillingerr wass thee shitt backk thenn andd noww haa heszz fuknn baddaszz haa mann if I dontt becomee an actor ima bee lik john dillingerr haa jkayy

  • It's sad actually to witness one such as JD. No doubt he was classy and everything else, it does not hide the fact that he is a criminal. We must also look at the circumstances that led to his and other criminals rise. If there were no "Great Depression", who knows what he might have become. A salesman perhaps, or a actor. Who knows. He has great character and potential, it's just circumstances at that time weren't fantastic.

  • Johnnyboy should of ran off.

  • John was a hardass especially since he had the right choice of automobile the glorius ford v8

  • Totally fake.

  • Stephen Graham played a great Baby Face Nelson...the best scene is when he is unloading his tommy gun through the window at the FBI agents near the end where he gets shot.

  • An old (G).

  • he was a good man dammit!!!!!!!!!!

  • O_0 Machine gun Kelly was the BEST!!! X_X Gangsta Shit

  • 1:56 0_0 Still fresh to the point where blood is dripping from his face.

  • RIP John Dillinger

  • he was killed by lap-dogs of J Edger Hoover, cross dressing, racist, child molester, probably connected to 2 Kennedy murders( detested JFK & Bobby) and the pig got a FBI building named after him........ Even Melvin Pervis hated him (the agent who killed JD) who later committed suicide with JD's own gun. The FBI really need to change the name of that building!

  • @mrsmelzbad dude who cares! do you have proof that he raped anyone or crossed dressed? probably not! don't go around saying stuff about people not even in our generation!

  • that stupid announcer is saying "Dillinger's" name WRONG. John Dillinger is and always will be the folk hero, and someone i look upto.

  • What do you think happens after we die?

  • @sluggo06 nothing, nothing at all

  • @MrLyricalg90 since we are talking about death go watch "are you a good person?" on my channel

  • @sluggo06 you cant be seriously asking that... everybody will tell you different things. i believe in heaven and hell whereas other people believe they'll be reincarnated into a fly....

  • @sluggo06 i get buried into the ground

  • @sluggo06 u get buried into the ground

  • Lets face it, this guy was a fucking legend, even if he was a criminal, i can guarentee his life was filled with more money, girls, excitement, and fame than many of the educated pricks we get in the world these days.

  • In today's society Dillenger would not be able to get away with one bank robbery. Let alone get a job to supply himself with guns.

  • @aboynamedmass That's incorrect. Today, you don't even need a gun, all you need is a piece of paper and a pen and a hat and sunglasses. Banks are robbed today many times over by the same person time after time without capture. until their greed consumes them to finally make a mistake and is turned in by someone who finally recognized them. It's not necessary to kill anyone. Pen and paper and a disguise. That's all

  • he kinda looks like the wrestler shawn micheals

  • Dillinger = Gangster

    Capone = Gangster

Baby Face Nelson = Simply a murderer who happened to rob banks as well

  • John Dillinger was the ideal gangster, and so was George "Baby Face" Nelson.

John was smart, confedent, arrogant, charasmatic, charming - and none the less willing to take a chance.

George was a brutal, honest, no-smack talking, fight-seeking, police-killer, who stopped at nothing.

    Legends, for sure.

  • the only true gangsters for sure

  • Did they say he changed his face?! Plastic surgery back then? WTF!

  • He was deadly respectful to all di gangstaz

  • in tutti i paesi di questo monod lo stato fa il pugno duro con i "criminali" con una coscienza mentre quelli lordi li incentiva perchè un'organizzazione che non rompe i coglioni al prossimo sarebbe un'altra forma di stato

  • gangstas are not the word for these men no these men were way higher class

  • @burgh171 omg that's true... how wierd!

  • i wouldve loved to be a gangster back then...

  • I Love The Movie Public Enemy!!!

  • @natsotter07 It's EnemIES you dumb-ass!

  • @jonpaulmoen Sorry Sorryyy Dumb-Ass!!!!!

  • if you look at the ears of john dillinger one is not perfectly round but the person who was killed had round ears and the teaches you that can your look but you can't change your ears

  • Times didn't change, we still love bad guys.

  • Just read up on the film, and I just saw that the guy who played Baby Face Nelson in Public Enemies was in actual fact the same guy who played Tommy in Snatch! Both good movies. The real John Dillinger will never be beaten; maybe sometimes matched, but never beaten. He revolutionised gangsters and bank robbing, making the government protect banks more, keeping our money safer today... So in a way, we should be thanking Dillinger, for prompting higher protection of our money in this world :)

  • @jarbydnjksd agreeeeeeed :)

  • @jarbydnjksd FCK BANKS, NO JOKE

  • @jarbydnjksd The only problem is that our money is no longer protected by banks. Instead, we pay the banks for the debts they have gotten themselves into. Public money for private debts??? Don't see any sense in that!!! They are the new public enemies and they are supported by our governments!!!!! Shame on all of them

  • @jarbydnjksd

    "keeping our money safer today."

Ya, by printing more money and fell down our saving value with inflation.

  • The movie Public Enemies was good. Just finished watching it actually. Anyway, they romanticized Dillinger's character as far as his relationship with Freschette (which only made it saucier) but overall the movie is historically accurate. Too, Johnny Depp (luv him) did a great job portraying Dillinger. You cant help but like this guy he was just that cool. It s funny how he made fools of the cops though, like almost every time! Can't help but laugh. Dude broke outta prison with a fake gun LMAO.

  • @TheEditor80 Well, it'sJohnny Depp - Of course it's not all the historical aspects of Dillinger's life, but they try to embelish some of what actually happened because they're Hollywood, and that's what they do, lol.

I unfortunately fell asleep during the Gunfight in the Woods, and Dillinger getting shot at the Theater came too soon really.

  • why isnt president johnsons name on the wanted list with the others/???????????? lol just joking. but i did watch a show one day that he ordered the murders of numerous people who could have had him convicted even his own sister. godbless.

  • @ FrsBigeasy yeah but baby face nelson will murderlize your ass and leave you in a rat infested dumpster in a dark alley

  • Baby Face hardily sounds like an intimidating nickname for a killer

  • @PocketPonyzOnFire well really dillinger isnt a hero if he was such a hero he wouldnt have robbed banks he wouldve done good for ppl and thats what he didnt do

  • i would of been john dillingers girl anyday! he was so handsome, and attractive.

  • @FancyFarrah lmao. i know right. i wouldda been all over him.

  • @FancyFarrah both mean the same thing

  • @FancyFarrah *looks like john dillinger*

  • These guys were REAL gangstas with class and not like today those thugs sitting on porch and selling drugs

  • @1337l33th4x0r these guys have brains the thug wannabes today are uneducated basterds these guys were more of a threat

  • @1337l33th4x0r sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo true. thank you.

  • @1337l33th4x0r

they carried their balls for sure.

  • @1337l33th4x0r Do not disgrace these MEN by even putting them in the same SENTENCE as what we have here today!!!! ....What we have today is not even worth a thought. Top gangsters....Dillinger....Lepke....Capone.

  • @1337l33th4x0r what do you mean by "with class"? they robbed, extorsion and killed..... i can't see any class at all

  • @1337l33th4x0r Well yeah thats a no brainer! You can't compare white gangsters to nigger/spic thugs. Whole different ballgame.

  • @ducatiprofessional Then again you did have people like Frank Lucas and Pablo Escobar that could give any white gangster a run for their money any day... Oh and by the way, please stop beign racist before I have to make you look stupid :)

  • @bigsmoke53 I give you Frank Lucus!! Fuck spic Pablo. but you already are stupid so what do you mean??

  • @ducatiprofessional I'm stupid? Before posting a reply trying to call people stupid, I suggest you watch your spelling and spacing when you're typing. And what I mean is that no other gangster has got to where Pablo Escobar went. He was the worlds richest criminal in world history, but don't take my word for it, go read some books and come back when you're done. Maybe then you will have your head out your ass.

  • @ducatiprofessional er...? the color red is so much more deadly than the color blue WOO! race has NOTHING to do with what you're talking about. the way they think and act is what madders.
