  • Thank you for all the wonderful instruction that you give! Thanks to this video, I was able to have success with applying lashes the other night! And you are so beautiful and well spoken.

  • Could you do a video on how to preserve/reuse false lashes?

  • how do you get them off?

  • You look like Natalie Portman's older sister..:p

  • You have the most charming voice I ever heard. It will be wonderful if you do a presentation, lol ^^

So helpful for a beginner like false lashes like me. Thank you !

  • this may seem daft but can you use any scissors e,g kitchen, nail etc or are there ones to avoid? x

  • I really thank you for all your videos! I'm learning so much! They are always very very helpful and you're so clear and easy to understand (I'm Italian)!!! THANK YOU! :D

  • Hi, Lisa! Can you please do a removal tutorial? How to maintain them after use and such, so as to not waste nearly new lashes :) Thank you so much!

  • do u know tht u glued wrong eyelashes in wrong side thats y u r having the end is short nd innerconer is longer

  • @rakofiify92 haha, that would be funny if I had but I can assure you I havent. The lashes I chose are slightly longer at the outer corner but its not that pronounced a difference. Also I'm filming from the side and slightly underneath so you are seeing the angle of the inner lashes much clearer as the outer lashes are being shot almost straight on. x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom well then sorry i thought u got confused lol i love ur techniques though :) its my be my eye lol

  • @rakofiify92 I love Lisa's tutorials!!! and yes its true I saw the same thing! hee hee! which is ok coz the tecnique is what is needed... that happens to me sometimes too when Im distracted or have million things going on around me and im trying to get my face on.. :)

  • @rakofiify92 You're questioning THE Lisa Eldridge? For real?

  • @rakofiify92 I don't think they are in the wrong side! as she says there are many different fake eye lashes, probably these ones have to be put on like that!

  • If I'd wear fake lashes where I live, people would stare at me and gossip about me. xD It's just abnormal here.. I wish people around here would watch these kinds of videos so they could see how great make up can be. Thanks for uploading! :)

  • i think you applied the wrong lashes tot he wrong eyes!

  • You upload videos on YouTube yourself? I thought your assistant does it for you.

  • Do you wear fake eyelashes a lot?

  • save my life on stage, Lisa...thanks to this great tutorial : )

  • i'm learning a lot from you and this is the first time i've seen one of your videos. :D

  • Love the nail polish where can I get it????

  • How do I put them off and can I reuse them?

  • I have a question regarding lashes that are a colour other than black. I have a set of fake lashes that are a purple (with a little bit of black) would you recommend using black mascara or a clear mascara? Thanks! :)

  • Thank you so much! I've been wanting to do Edie Sedgwick lashes for a long time, but I can never get them in place correctly.

  • Hi LISA im a professional makeup artist in Pakistan. I have done courses and am still under training. i love ur videos and always come back to watch the old ones again to correct myself where i think im wrong. I love your creativity and your unique style. There are lots here on youtube which I have been watching some of which usually dont know what kind of makeup to use on what kind of skin and after I watched you I was actually impressed. Thanks :-) i have learned a lot from you.

  • thank you Lisa! it is a really good tutorial and the main thing you said-DONT PANIC- means a lot to me hahaha as i always do with lashes

    thx again

  • i have a problem......i have got thick and lil long lashes but i wanna apply fake but the problem is that my real lashes are not rolled.....and wen i apply fake ones, which are rolled and pointing above.. u can totally tell that i m wearing fake ones...my real ones are very easy to see......is there anuthing i can do

  • @shitmit Do you mean rolled as in "curled"? When I put on fake lashes, I slightly curl the ends of my real lashes so they blend into the fake lashes. Don't curl your lashes too much, or it won't blend as nicely. Hope that helps!

  • @juliejujube1 thanks ..that helpd

  • @shitmit Gently use an eyelash curler before you put the fakes on, then sort of use your fingers to push the real/fake together a bit once the glue starts setting. If it still isn't enough, use the lash curler again on both real AND fake, then use a few light sweeps of mascara to blend the real/fake lashes.

  • @TearfulShadows oh Thank u

  • @shitmit - I have the same problem. I usually curl my lashes after Im done and it solves it. But be careful while you do it, cuz the fake lashes are fragile.

  • the ones with the clear strips are soooo much more natural looking because a dead giveaway to tell if someone's wearing fake lashes, it's the black strip at the base

  • this was very helpful , would you know were i can buy the duo lash ? is it aviable at boots? please get back to me i have a pare of ardell lashes that have been sitting in my draw for a while and this video has just given be the last push i needed to try to wear them !

    so thanks with love xx

  • Greatly useful ! especially the part of selecting the right fake lashes.

    Thanks!

  • you seems monica bellucci

  • Hi Lisa. If I wanted to wear lashes with coloured eyeliner, e.g. violet, should I colour the base of the lash strip with the violet eyeliner before applying? Thanks in advance!

  • they look really really good.I prefer lots of individuals though....but that's just personnal preference! You explain everything so well , you do lots of close-ups....you are amazing!

  • thank you so much Lisa. I love all of your videos! I'm wondering what brand and what color is ur lip color in this video?! It looks super pretty together with the entire makeup!

  • hahaha don't panic :P i always panic

  • Where cani buy tht glue ??

  • That was very helpful!

I watched a lot of tutorials on how to put on fake lashes but your is the best!

Oh, and I think you look like Monica Bellucci on this tutorial!

    x

  • is it me or your lashes are the other way around, like the longer hair are inthe inner corner and the shorter side is ont the outside?

  • @sanaakbar i was about to say this!

  • If I use mascara on the fake lashes, could I still use them again? How long/how many times could I use them?

    thanks for your advices!

  • wow you responded.... you are friggin awesome! I am soooo excited! do you know what foundation and powder Katy Perry has been using lately? you are so gorgeous I am obsessed with your videos.

  • what lashes does Katy Perry wear? xo

  • @joejonaslover4ever96 lots of different brands, she loves lashes and definitely wears them very well x

  • Love Your Vids

  • hi are you gluing them on the lid or on the lashes?

i really want to try but i heard so many stories about lashes being ripped off o.O

but these lashes look so amazing on you

  • i could literally watch u all day!!! ur amazing at what u do :) ur so inspiring and talented. i hope to be like u someday, just dont know where to start! thank you so much for doing this and i love ur website too!!! amazing talent! x

  • A fantastic and much need tutorial - I had my first success with false eyelashes a few weeks ago, thanks to you Lisa!

  • What nail polish are you wearing? It's so pretty and soft!

  • The video was really useful and helpful.

Just wondering what the difference was between self-adhesive lashes and the one's featured in this video? Is there a difference? If so, then what lashes would you recommend? thanks

  • i'm sorry, can u explain "painting the roots?" what am i using, is it mascara? thank u again for all ur wonderful videos!

  • Just discovered your site. Am delighted. Studying VTCT fashion & photography makeup and all advice greatfully received!! Please post loads more.

  • Great video Lisa really enjoyed watching it... I've always wanted to try falsies but didn't know the ins and outs... your video helped a lot thank you... you should maybe do a video about good eyelash brands perhaps x

  • I love all your tutorials. Thank you!

  • Hi Lisa, thank you for another very useful video!

One question: do you place the false lashes onto the roots of your eyelashes (like you do with the individual ones), or onto the skin near the roots?

Thanks in advance for your response =)

  • @chinesechicken89 strip lashes attach to the skin at the base of your natural lashes. Thanks for watching! x

  • you look a lil bit like Belucci in the first sec :)

  • Hello Lisa Your Amazing !

I Absolutely love your Videos Please Keep Them Coming !! @~~>~~ oxox Melinda

  • I love your videos! I am really happy to have found your channel!

  • Lovely! Great look!

  • Your videos are always useful. I bought some individual lashes today and I'm going to try them out later. Hopefully, I'll be able to graduate to the full strip lashes soon! xx

  • I actually started to use fake lashes just a few months ago and I love it ! I have a large lidspace and I love the way lfake ashes fill the void :)

  • you are so beautiful. love the videos. i could watch them all day because you have a lovely speaking voice xx

  • You're so nice!!!

I was hoping you'd do a Full Strip Fake Lashes video after watching your Individual Fake Lashes video.

    Thanks so much.

  • very pretty

  • u r so pretty <3

  • Fantastic! Thanks!

  • Thank you for this wonderful tutorial.

As so far most of your natural or nude looks I really adore, especially the makeup you have on in this tutorial. It would be so generous and helpfull if you could list the used products or coulours in the sidebar. I would particular ask for the lipstick, this one looks so natural and really suits you.

  • @Aureolis I'm wearing L'Oreal Colour Riche lipstick in 'Golden Vanilla' for this tutorial. Thanks for watching x

  • If allowed I would request a tutorial on how to emphasize the eyebrows, that they look put together and not totally overdone or fake, yours seem always to have the right balance inbetween.

  • I can not expain how much i adore your videos!

Just love it..... And by the way, your smile is sweet at the end of the video :)

Won't stop saying that your videos include the most and the best amount of the tips EVER!

  • Lisa, would you recommend that you curl you own lashes first and add mascara before applying falsies or wait until after you apply??

  • Excellent tutorial. So informative!

  • Thank you. This is the best in-depth explanation on lashes that I have ever seen.

  • Of course it was useful dear Lisa! Thank you so much.

  • thank you so much, you videos are very informative.

  • Hi Lisa,

When you apply false lashes on clients, do you let them close their eyes? Or look down?

  • @CeeMeOnsugar I always ask them to close their eyes

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom Thank you!

  • i have a question??? can you reuse them over and over or do they eventually break???? answer a.s.a.p

  • @775evelyn if you clean them gently and thoroughly with eye make-remover to take off the mascara and keep them in the box they came in you should get at least 2-3+ uses

  • Another fabulous video. Lisa, your videos are the most useful ones I've found on YT. Thanks!

  • Thanks :) x

  • Thank you for this Lisa! Very helpful! Any tips for removing? Do you just pull them off gently? I'm a little afraid of losing some of my own lashes.

  • AMAZING!!! Keep them coming Lisa. x

  • Love the look of the lashes you applied - I hear so much about the ardell lashes...

  • don't panic...really a good advice, I think we all forget it!

I have two questions.. how do you clean your lashes after use in case you want to use them again?

Second silly question...your eyes look like mine, how would you describe the color of your eyes? hazel?brown?

    thank you! :)

  • Lisa you are become one my favourite guru in a week (and that's very diffucult with me)..

I love your quiet way to speak...don't panic,it a foundamental advice!I always forget it :)

  • Lisa, which one do you recommend for daily use? full strip or individual? x

  • gorgeous :) you make it look so effortless xx

  • THANK YOU for this video!! I have tried this a couple of times and it has just gone so wrong...yoou have demystified the process completely!!

  • i love ur voice <3

  • Thanks Lisa! I've never thought of trimming too long lashes before. Genius! x

  • Could you please do a cleanser and eye make up remover review as I find these extremely hard to get right for sensitive/dry skin x

  • @ellisaali Why don't you try baby/olive oil as eye makeup remover? I use that and I have sensitive skin around my eyes. Baby oil I find is a great alternative to spending stupid money on removers in stores.

  • @samjones0528 It shouldn't be. I have been keeping my videos private for the first 12 hours or so while they become good quality and fully HD but then I switch to public. I have definitely switched this one to public. I have no idea why it still says private...I find YT really annoying sometimes! x

  • @lisaeldridgedotcom

youtube is annoying alot of the time, i didnt even get your reply til i clicked on your video again :) i still managed to watch it anyhow, was just curious! love your tutorials x

  • these were nice, didnt know we could get ardell in uk

  • yep i just saw some in Boots!

  • @qtpielondon

    thanks...off to boots tomorrow!
