it is a good thing from time to time to straighten your hair if you want...i like your hair better naturally curly...our men always will like our hair better straight...either way you look great...btw, your hair does look very healthy.

Do I spy a Nine West shoe box (amongst several others) and Macy's bag in the back, lol? I am so nervous about ever straightening my hair again so don't feel bad lol. It came out very nice though. I think the straight hair DOES make you look younger but mainly because in your videos your hair is tucked away in a bun or like two braids...sort of like a school teacher lol (NO offense).

I think u are a beautiful woman so don't take this wrong. Your straight hair makes u look like an adverage black woman but your natural hair makes u look uniquely beautiful. However doing the straight hair every now and than is always an option, especialy if your hubby likes it. U can always get straight from natural but u can't get natural from relaxed.
I like both textures! I alternate between my natural kinky-curly texture and a blow out style. My blow-outs aren't as straight as the one you got at the salon... I probably need a higher-end blow dryer to achieve this look. I love that yours still looks full and has body!

I just got a trim this past week, too! It's been over a year and half since my hair has been cut on. But it was time -- too much breakage. I do think now the stylist trimmed too much off, but its over and done. It'll grow. As for your new look, it is very pretty -- and long! The look doesn't "age" you as far as looking younger or older.

You can also try a bantu know out or flat twist out like @TheCoilWhisperer said. Those look GORG or flat ironed hair (especially when your hair starts reverting back a little bit)
