My guess is that they absorb energy from minerals and sort of perspire it, or radiate it, out of their body as they use it. Though I may very well be wrong. They don't have a mouth, so how can they eat? 1 thing is clear, they don't eat like we do. Terrans are more like Zerg in that way I'd say.. Eat, digest, defecate.. The Protoss though, I'm not sure..
