@zaracki92 im an idiot? really? I have a bachelor degree in marine biology and im studying oceanology now, which i had to take many classes on just aquarium life in general, and ID's specifically i know very well seeing that i've had several of them over the years, pangasius hypophthalmus come from rivers in asia
@kodyhorn44 yes THOSE sharks get very big, but these ID's that we get at our local fish store technically are pangasius hypophthalmus yes BUT thru years of breeder farms and captive bred genetics limits these "sharks" to a more reasonable size. now i wasnt trying to pick a youtube fight but its pretty funny how ignorant you are seeing that your trying to tell me about something ive been studying about for more years than youve been alive.
@kodyhorn44 LMAO... you might have been studying it,but apparently, you haven't learned anything. Might want to sign up for monsterfishkeepers(dot)com and checkout some of the ID the users keep. Even if its was bred too much enough to make it short, I've personally seen ones 3'+ which would still be too big for anything under 300 gallons. People like you that claim to have all kinds of degree and then feed newcomers with your idiocy is the main problem our hobby faces.

is an id shark good in a 117 gallon tank when its a adult ??
busyZignal 1 year ago
@busyZignal lol...an adult id shark is about 4 feet long....i'm not sure how that would do in a 4 feet long tank.
zaracki92 11 months ago
@zaracki92
adult id sharks are from 10 to 18 inches they rarely get bigger than that and sure as hell dont get 4 feet lol
