great tutorial! but wen I am testing the button it wont animate the labels it just jumps to the keyframes. So there is no fade. It really looks like a simple button Symbol with the state presets of flash.... what am I doing wrong?
@asummersdesign yeah I did... I also checked every single part of the Scene and compared it with your tutorial, and its absolutely identic...
I noticed that when i test the button and hover it the first time, it does nothing, and after the second time i roll over it, it starts "switching" between the 2 states..
@asummersdesign Yes, they begin one frame after each stop(); action and when I hit enter the movie does not play in flash and I think it has to be like so, because of the stop, right?
The timeline (keys and stuff) looks exactly as in your tutorial :(
That would be me, ha ha and after all this time you only just noticed. Bit wierd hearing your own voice.. I'm sure thats not me, I sound much cooler :~)
I'm getting the following error:
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MotionEvent.
1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: MotionEvent.

What did i did wrong?

@Flowwwable Hi Flowwwable, If you look at the error it tells you that you are using a :MotionEvent!
If you go back through your code and change the Event/s to MouseEvent! it should work.

@Postmortem88 Did you set the timeline to tween by right clicking between the keyframes and selecting "classic tween" ?

@Postmortem88 Hmm.. Ok, did you place the labels one frame after the keyframes containing the begining animation?
If you press enter when in flash does the button animate then?
