I think the beauty of this song, like so many others, is that it shows a part of their musical range that the others don't. Where a "Oh No" is heavily to on style, and a "Sixteen" is heavily to another style, this song is very much a different style of its own. The potential there is the great work that can come from them filling in the space between these musical extremes.
That kind of man ROCKS. Cant stop thinking of james (cunt) blunt on this vocal. plz dont get me wrong still love this band. hope they earn a few quid from their exploits. Good tune
I'm just learning of this band. I'm real impressed with the lead singer's voice. Wow. I'm impressed with everything I've heard by this band so far. "Colleen" is my favorite to date.
Me too! I love "Coleen"... Have you seen the one music video that has a six-armed goddess and groovy colors spinning everywhere? It sounds really weird, but that's how I found out about them.
Absolutely! That's the one that started it all off for me. It's the coolest. As my brother said, 'there just aren't enough elephant-headed dancing slaves these days'.
"Colleen" and it was done by Friend of a Friend Films. That video was the one that first hooked me on to The Heavy and it is very good. And very trippy. But still good. :)

Awesome song... intro sounds extremely similar to the Rolling Stones' Honky-Tonk Woman.
