Hey man thanks for the vid. I have a question. I did the root and the phone works fine, calls come in sounds is fine but i am having one problem. I have done some research on it but i cannot find the answer. Is there a reason why my wifi will not work on my phone now. The problem is that i can turn the wifi on but it does not find any wifi and then after a few seconds it turns itself off. have any idea how to fix this?

Hey so I think I messed up trying to boot up certain roms with my phone and eventually just did the process which you described in your video. I still have all my information/data/files and am factory reset, however I do not have my background/widgets/homepages set up. I still have my titanium backup with the image - so is there a way I can load that image (like I did with ClockworkMod) without having to get clockwork again? Also,I killed my SIM card from switching roms,just completely dead haha

Hey Max I sent you a pm on Facebook but my question is do you have the image for I777UCKK7 baseband version and UCKK7 for build number, cause the image file you have posted is for I777UCKK6 baseband version and UCKH7 build number. This is nothing compared to what your video shows. Thanks.

Please Help !! I Rooted my phone, and didint have wifi, so i unrooted it and i lost 3G, but had wifi. so i though i should root it again. now when i rooted it the second time I did have wifi and did not have 3G, i unrooted again and i still dont have 3G. So now its liek whatever i do I dont have 3G. but when i put my sim in another phone, i do have 3G. please helpppp, thank you

sorry a bit new to rooting but thanks to you i have rooted my phone AT&T Galaxy S2! [SGH-i777] . and uninstalled a factory app called ap mobile which i found to be using a large chunk of my data. now i have a ??? if i unroot my phone will this ap mobile be back on my phone? thanks

@sudaniana19741 thats normal on rooted phones but you can get rid of it with a usb jig, i made a video on how to make one last week, try googling usb jig zedomax

i root my galaxy s2 on a international rom for I19100

i did exactly what you've said and it did work with me but i still have one problem

the baseband version did not change it is still I19100xxkh3 not SGH- I777

@sudaniana19741 Oh you should have not used the international version of ATT version, they are two different animals. You can try finding a modem for SGH-i777 and flash that though to fix.

service issues is my guess since I rooted mine messages and calls have taken a plunge coicidence? I have no idea all I know is since I rooted calls drop and my phone wont let me call sometimes it says "call not sent"and messages wont send "unable to send message" maybe my phone is crap maybe it was the root I dont know ill be back in a few days to see if unrooting it fixes it thanks for this video!!
