I believe Legion from Nier were the equivalent of the mindless empire soldiers in drakengard one and red eye was another prophet of the watchers like manah. It is all fully detailed extensively in Grimoire Nier. WCS came to humans who would not accept the god from drakengard, those who did became legion.
@balbanes1 they would probably make a game of that cuz they have a VERY deep backstory for the game like the part of the young replicant trying to revive his replicant lover thus revivng red eye and then the android and another four replicants figthing it... they really have a lot of material to make a prequel of Nier

@fallenangel2100 Well WCS and Black Scrawl have nothing to do with each other. :P WCS spread from the Queen and it either killed the people it infected or turned them into monsters called Legions. Magic was created using Angelus' body to fight the legions and later to separate human souls from their bodies (as Gestalts/Shades) to avoid being infected and to be later put in the artificial Replicant bodies (the "humans" in Nier's world).
@RRRadish i know the "humans" are replicants and the shades are the souls of the original humans aka gestalts but are legions just a glorified gestalt/shade or are they the shades u fight in the nier tutorial? and i only heard bout the scrawl not the WSC and so aparently from angelus' body we were able to create grimoire weiss and noir as well as the means for project gestalt? sorry for so many complicated questions i wasnt able to finish Nier and i like these kinda convos
@fallenangel2100 Legions are completely different things. The shades in the intro were people given replicas of Grimoire Noir to Gestaltize them at the same "rescue center" that Nier and Yonah had just escaped (and also gotten their Noirs from) before the intro takes place.
And Black Scrawl can only "infect" Replicants, not normal humans.

Definately one of Square Enix's worst games. but who am i kidding? all of their games suck. SquareSoft needs to return. Square Enix made so many endings bc they probably couldnt decide on what one was better, bc truthfully- they all suck. this game was a waste of time for me.

firstly: well, its something molecular, and its made of Mud/Sand (which in my religion is what is said to be used to make Adam), as well for seconds, its because We use our power for such unimportant things, and do cause pain, and we don't use that power, to create good, though there is those who do, there are more who do Bad then there are of good. but either way, i'm religious but i'm just saying, their is some fact to the end view of what the story shows, and to how they ended it.

This game is so messed up, but most people don't even realize it. I suppose you'd understand if you went to Wiki, but the American version of the game censored a LOT of stuff--for good reason. Leonard was a pedophile, obviously Furiae had 'feelings' for Caim, and Arioch loves to kill children.
Also, ever wonder why Furiae dies? when partly possessed by "The Watchers", Furiae chooses to kill herself, rather than reveal her feelings for Caim. Didn't know that 'cause of the censors.
They removed a fair amount from her story. Liiike, when she was *spoiler* killed by Manah, she actually chose to basically kill herself rather than admit her love for Caim, which Manah was trying to get her to admit. Messed up stuff like that.
Honestly, I am a fan of the Drakengard series. This ending and Seere's Solace... definitely were over the top on the level that the game worked. They sequel to this game accepts the ending in which Angelus becomes the new goddess, which was probably the only acceptable one anyway. I would definitely say that Drakengard 2 was an improvement on several fronts, especially combat. To my knowledge Square Enix is not making another due to poor sales (not enough profit). I think this series beats FF7.

I believe the "Land of the Gods" in this game is the future. The grotesqueries are the Gods. The queen-beast multiplies the grotesqueries and also controls time, which is what she is used for. The main point of Furiae and the seals were to chain the bonds of reason and reality to THAT time in order to prevent the "gods" from travling through the time rift and raining down judgement on the people of the current time. :3
i beat the final ending and i got the jet in drakengard 1....finally! but no, im currently on the extreme mode in drakengard 2....im going to the District Of Time or something like that....

So the events after ending a, Drakengard 2, take place in one world while the happenings after this ending lead to Nier in another world.

i beat the final ending and i got the jet in drakengard 1....finally! but no, im currently on the extreme mode in drakengard 2....im going to the District Of Time or something like that....

It took me three straight days to beat that damn mission, but the jet at the end was so worth it XD
Imagine being on the ground, seeing a fighter jet being rode by a mute with Hymir's Finger XD

I beat that it takes extreme skill and beat, i later realized a much easier way, pause the game memorize them unpause do them then pause again.
