I grew up in America, and I love the true principles that make America a great nation, The spirit of freedom and equality for all. But after beloved John F Kennedy was assassinated I haven't seen a great president who represented "all the people" and the American way.. Lots of wars and big corporate maneuvers and huge defense contracts etc.. but the economy continues to plummet as does the spirit of the nations unity. I pray that America finds itself again and reclaims it noble heritage.

Bush supported Afghanistan and Pakistan's violent legal system which persecutes non-Muslims and executes them for proselytizing. @SuperSunnyXX One of you is a liar, Bush Administration has admitted they produced and hung the banner, but they insist it was the crews idea. Donald Rumsfield even took out all wording in the speech that said "mission accomplished" because he knew it was wrong, but did not know about the banner to stop that. Even Bush admitted that "putting Mission Accomplished on an aircraft carrier was a mistake" - he admitted it, he regrets it, that I give him credit for, BUT YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A LIAR!!!

@mustangs24 My nephew and godson were on the ship, and they put up the sign 'mission accomplished' with no directive from President Bush or any of his entourage...they put it up themselves because they were going home and their 'MISSION WAS ACCOMPLISHED' ...George Bush was too much of a gentleman to answer the critics on it...but, my nephew, godson and their crew members, got the message out to the not so criminally insane libs...who care what they think...they are never right..

@SuperSunnyXX As for the banner - again how can you re-write history? It's well documented that the banner was the Navy's idea, but who made the banner? According to the WH Spokesman Scott McClellan "we took care of the production of it. We have people to do those things. But the Navy actually put it up". Then that turned out to be a lie as the WH later admitted they hung the banner but still insisted it was at the request of the crew members. So either you're lying or Bush is????
