I like this game but let me get one thing fuckin straight and it better happen in the next game of the series:

I hate it when you look around the corner and the enemy has already just pumped let into you, it leaves me thinkin what the fuck?!!!

The enemies react faster than us, they lift a HMG in a quarter of a fuckin second.

They should also increase the number of your team. I don't think that in SWAT teams there is only 3 people, there should be atleast 6-8.

no, you dont have to play on DX10, i prefer you run the game on dx9 for performance, if you got high end 15 grand PC you should run it on dx10, but then you would know you could start up 10 games at the same time on one of those monsters

Nickthejedi1 in answer to your question, Gears 2 is coming out in Nov 08 so if you can hold off till then, you may get an improved version. If you can't wait, Gears is certainly a great game to buy IMO (the reviews speak for themselves). It's hard to say which is better of the 2 games. It's a matter of opinion and depends on what type of game you like. If you want fast paced action go for Gears or even COD4, if you want a slow tactical fps, you won't go wrong with RSV2

arva300178, whilst I can see your point regarding realism for a fps, I don't really think popping into a 3rd person perspective when hiding behind something is a reflection of reality. to me it just ruins the game. It's innovative but not appropriate for a rainbow six series (works well in games like gears of war where it's more of an arcade style shooter).

rainbow six vegas 2 has better weapons, customization system and combat system than Call of Duty 4. However, Call of Duty 4 has better graphics. I like the leveling up system better in rainbow six vegas 2.

also the graphics seem to be downgraded, I was very disappointed because the the graphics and flashy vegas setting was so appealing in the first one. The graphics do very much look cartoony at times, and would have to agree that they aren't as good as COD even though COD even has sub par graphics. And finally yes the servers suck balls, you have about a 20% chance of connecting to games and hooling up with friends.

Yes the first one was better, even though I love little editions like In game friends list which makes invites so much easier. The graphics were downgraded, the textures aren't as high. Also you can tell how much time they spent polishing the first one, this time it's full of bugs. Half the time in campaign the other guys guns don't even make sounds, it's rediculous.

graphics in COD 4 'weak'? that's a joke, right? it's currently the most graphically detailed game on the home consoles, and it all runs at 60fps. Games like Mass Effect, Gears of War, and Assassin's Creed come close to topping it, but they've all got graphical blemishes (texture pop-in, frame rate dips, clipping...) whereas there's almost nothing wrong with COD4.

I have COD4 And Ive been rank 55 and am now doing prestige mode.

I played The vegas 1 demo, and enjoy it not even as half as much as i was doing prestige mode in COD4.

Vegas 2 looks and is most likely going to beat Call of duty in the most realistic/modern gameplay ever made.

And if you want to talk realistic, Walking around with a gun in front of a screen playing a video game isnt realistic either.
