My wife thinks I'm nuts and my daughter , well she is like the devil on my shoulder at times , she says

there's something wild in side me , anyway great vid don't quit you have a gift for it !!!

  • Greetings from England UK.

  • I think you did just a fantastic job in this video talking about Alaska. You talked about so many things that people who don't know about Alaska would like to know. It's hard to realize those things when you live in the place yourself because you never think about it, but you did a really good job. I enjoyed your video please make more. Thanks

  • is all the girls up there beautiful like u?

  • Thanks for posting. That was neat. I love the videos that deal with Alaska. Would love to live there. It's easy to say that living in Southern California but something entirely different actually doing it. My question ?? Slightly weird question?? What kind of medical facility access do you guys have? Doctors, hospital's, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, etc ? A friend of mine is getting her Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner and wants to move to a small Alaska town. Any thoughts ? tx

  • THANKS for your video. a lot of people would like to move there and never will cause they have made where they stay at a home and family settled there. so you are lucky to live there. enjoy your state and appreciate what you have there. thanks again :p

  • Thank you. Loved the noise of the small 'plane in the background.!

  • Is your life quiet and introspective as opposed to say living in the city somewhere, being as to get anywhere from where you are is a task.

  • thanks for the video. I have always dreamed of living in Alaska. I am afraid however now I can only listen to people like yourself who really do.

  • This girl is correct, A great state, lots of outdoor activity. great people,(Sarah Palin is the exception) Thank you for your Vid.

  • I enjoyed this and hope to visit Alaska one day. Do you think you will live there all your life or do you have plans to move eventually?

  • @treetoptop I love Alaska. I definetly will live here after college for sure!

  • If I were to move to Alaska what are the 5 most important things I need to know about living in Alaska?

  • @SaltyOldDawg Well, it depends on where. For Southeast Alaska...

    1. invest in some quality rain gear: Xtra Tuff's, rain jacket..etc

    2. umbrella's are USELESS. The wind breaks them.

    3. groceries and gas are more expensive than anywhere in the lower 48

    4. 95% of the population is pro guns, even if they are democratic

    5. it's a beautiful and wonderful place to live, if you can handle the rain

I'll try and make a most important things to know about living in Ak in general.. if I ever have time haha

  • I am from Texas and and always been fascinated with Alaska... Who knows maybe I will pack up the Family and get up there....

  • So can people still live up in the mountains.i mean away from the cities.and do people still homestead there

  • I wanna hunt for gold. I'm semi-retired.

  • Do you think if a fat guy like me moved to Alaska, I could get a date?

  • ive heard that its dark over half the time in ALASKA ?

  • Thank you for posting---Great!

  • lol its 60 degrees there and ur like nothing. where i live in vero beach FL if its 60 degrees outside we r all wearing jackets and if it gets to 50 degrees we r all complaining of how cold it is. i wish it snowed here though :x

  • Hi assuming the drinking age is the same as in the lower 48, any idea on how strict they are concerning underage drinking? Like in bars and at social gatherings? I've always wondered.. Nice video

  • @DNX73R Our drinking age is the same as the rest of the U.S. Bars here are pretty strict. As for social gatherings, drinking is very popular. I, personally, don't drink, so I'm not so usefull on this question..

  • I am about to move to Alaska looking forward to it

  • Ive always wanted to go to Alaska, its a dream I have.

  • I live in ketchikan alaska and I love it here it does get cold up here put Ii love the scene

  • Sorry if this sounds silly, but being that far north, are your seasons the same as the lower 48? Are your summers or winters longer? Example; In Indiana, our "winter" usually lasts from the end of November untill....March. (If we're lucky!) Summer runs from June - Sept. Spring and fall just kind of fill in the gaps...

  • @wabashdreamer1 Our "winter" is from mid Oct to mid March. "Spring" mid March to June. "summer" June to mid August. And "fall" from mid August to mid Oct

  • I'm a British citizen who aims to get a degree in Medicine. Would it be easy for me to get citizenship in Alaska?

  • @Turok456789 Well, It'd be the same difficulty as getting a U.S. citizenship, 'cause we're a state in the United States :P

  • @KhanSuhair Well, you don't have to live somewhere to be a certain religion, but it does make it easier if there's a more people with the same religion in your area. I'm sure there are Muslims in Alaska, I'm just not aware of any.

  • hi from Homer!

  • Nice video, but duo you realize you are showing it wrong right? :)

  • Alaska is super cold! I don't think a human can survive in that type of weather but it basically is attached to Canada so you're almost living in canada and people live in Canada so you have a chance of surviving. Are you born in Alaska?

    ~Good Luck!

  • @lpsluver1000 Alaskan born and raised :D

  • @lpsluver1000 dude sourhern ak is actually very warm so dont make fun of her!
