  • @livinglegend1187 just shut up cunt

  • One of the truest statements ever...."it's your life".

  • @1ChuckUFarley Nice generalization you cunt.

Do you know how many insults I hear that are aimed at EVERY American? MANY a day. It's frustrating and I have no tolerance for xenophobes like you.

  • He sounds like Kermit the Frog from The Muppets.

  • @iCherrryz Is it really necessary to specify "from The Muppets???" Everyone knows who Kermit the Frog is.

  • this is a beautiful documentry. and i do not mean to demean it in anyway, it s a very courageous act...but...he does sound like Kermit the Frog.

  • How horribly selfish to keep someone in excruciating agony just because you're not comfortable with their decision to die... this needs to be made legal.

  • This episode touched me so much, words can't even express...

  • Your own body belongs to you -- It is YOUR property. Therefore, you have the right to do what you want with it. Nobody on earth can deny you of that human right. It is incredibly selfish for people to try to stop others from committing suicide, because there is always a reason for suicide. This poor man was suffering and in pain, he wanted to die. He made that choice while he still could, so who the hell has the right to say "NO! You're not allowed to kill yourself.". Bullshit.

  • I saw that bench when I was in Vancouver. It's beautiful.

  • As a Nurse and someone who at 35 has already suffered 8yrs of chronic pain due to spinal stenosis, degenerative discs and fibromyaldia lupus, i find it DISGUSTING that in America (the land of freedom) I have the right to end the suffeing of my beloved dog however if i myself or my Husband ever get to that point we must go to another country or continue suffering. We should all have the basic right (if of stable mind and no medical relief) to choose to end our suffering & say when enuf is enuf!

  • @robnamyalford Agreed! The American government is very oppressive it seems :/

  • @robnamyalford I invite anyone that's suffering to come to WA state. We passed the "Washington Death with Dignity Act Initiative 1000 (I-1000)" in 2008. Enjoy the trees and fresh air and have a some Starbucks and choose when you've suffered enough.

  • if someone is suffering badly i totally believe in this . but for no other reason .

  • my friend just said he got sexual pleasure out of watching him kill himself. Do you think that's messed up?

  • My opinions on Euthanasia are in agreement with the right to die. However; it comes with structured circumstances. I do not feel euthanasia should be because one feels their life is over and has no medical support. I feel euthanasia should be allowed due to suffering and rapid lose of life. We choose to euthanize our pets when we see them suffering or fading away. The thought of them suffering breaks our hearts, and not to euthanize is inhumane. So why is it different for a human life?

  • "I can not stay" Much love, I know how he feels. s4

  • We plan every other important event in our lives, why not our death? I understand the Aborigine determine when they are to die, then go into the outback and will themselves dead. It certainly is a grey area. Everyone except the suffering person thinks it should not be done.

  • My grandpa had ALS and didn't kill himself... He lived all five years painfully because he wanted to see me, along with his other grandchildren be born.

  • @WindowsAndMacintosh and I commend your brave brave grandfather. I'm sure it was hard for him, but not everybody has that type of strength. Just b/c this man chose to choose when he died does not mean that he's not strong. It takes a different kind of strenghth to do what he did.

  • @2013LPN

I never said suicide for this purpose is weakness. Obviously the best choice out of death or suffering and death is death.

  • @SixFootTallMidget What you're are effectively asking people to do is kill someone else. I don't personally think that is right.

There are also hasty surroundings with this issue:

It is legal in Holland, and 30% of all cases or suspected to be murders; people not wanting to die.

  • This man is simply amazing. I'm glad he was able to die gracefully with no pain.

  • So, after all this millions of years of evolution, life has reached the point that it can decide to terminate itself. It is quite an accomplishment.

  • I saw that, very sad but i wouldn't want to live like that either...

  • The definition of euthanasia is:

"The painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma."

What it is asking of doctors is just wrong.

  • rest in peace

  • The generalisations, intolerance and hypocrisy on the comments of this video are terrible. Especially the top comments. The most ironic thing is the people saying these intolerant things are the ones who probably pride themselves on being so tolerant and want 'rights' for everyone -___- 'rights' inculde the 'right' to have a different opinion from you. Yes I support euthanasia, But childish name calling and mindlessly bashing religion will not change anything.

  • @fasfsdfasd Thanks, I appreciate that - no worries. It's never my intent to disrespect or offend, so if anything I wrote came across that way, then I apologize as well. There's far too much of that in the world without my contributing more.

  • @fasfsdfasd I understand your frustration. No one should have to defend their views, really, because that contradicts the concept of tolerance. If people go around trumpeting their generalizations, while looking down their nose at others, then that says far more about them than it does about the value of whatever given belief is in question. And, unfortunately, if you're coming here you're going to get quite a lot of the hostility. These forums tend to be little more than a slug fest, sadly.

  • @fasfsdfasd No, I'm asking a specific question. Do you consider calling people names a sign of tolerance? I'm not concerned with what other people are saying, but don't think I'm being flippant, inflamatory, or upset. If you've read that in my words, then you read something that isn't there. There isn't much that I get upset about. If others are intolerant, does that mean we reply likewise? Surely we can do the right thing regardless of what others choose to do. Good is done for its own sake.

  • people who have perfect life, tall, handsome, lots of friends, perfect family... you think is coward to suicide but you know nothing about people who are short, ugly, broken family , no friends ! being hate !.. you thing everyday there is a reason for us to smile? thinking about death makes me happy.. that's only way out of all the pain I feel..

  • @fasfsdfasd You call me intolerant, but nearly every post you make here you're calling someone names if they disagree with something you say. Is that your definition of tolerance? I haven't said anything at all intolerant toward you.

  • @fasfsdfasd Where do you come up with this stuff? I never said I was a saint, nor imply it. And I said nothing about my concept of hell, so where are you musing that? You can doubt whatever you want, that doesn't make you right. I make a living teaching this stuff. I made a comment, not a scare tactic. Why are you such an inflamatory reactionist? You're the only one who's been aggressive the entire time. All I did was point out that you had bad logic and you can't take that kind of critique.

  • @fasfsdfasd I don't have to be a non-believer to disagree with someone who has nothing of value to say. I'm neither atheist nor agnostic. And here's your non-existent Bible quote,. "and whoever says, 'You fool,' shall be guilty enough to go into the fiery hell." I study and teach the Bible nearly every day of my life.

  • @fasfsdfasd I'm not an atheist, so you're wrong about that. If you're a Christian, then I suppose you overlooked the part of the Bible that states you're not to call someone a fool. So, maybe you should brush up on your theology as well. And, again, you make no legit point. You just launch in with your ad hominem fallacies, which is standard issue for those who have no real point to make.

  • @fasfsdfasd Your reply makes no sense. I didn't make an ad hominem. If you don't know what it means, then I can explain it for you.

  • Why he did that? why why? my God is very kindly in my opinion, either if he sick this is not a good solution

It is not allowed in my religion in Islam, Islam is very great religion please read about it, many muslims in over the world they don't dealing by muslim's habits if you woud like to now the realy Islam pleas read about it.

  • @fasfsdfasd Nice ad hominem attack.

  • Stephen Hawking is far worse off, and his disease progression has slowed down. I personally know someone suffering from ALS. It surprises me to see people with such a weak will to live.

  • @drumstyx6464 So, somehow you're drawing a conclusion based on an admitted statistic of two people (Hawking and someone you know)?

  • @drumstyx6464 not to be rude, but thats a bit judgemental. this poor man here had an excruciating decition to make. Even though i personally dont think i agree with it, i most certainly dont think little of him. what he is doing, right or wrong, takes a lot of courage and strength either way. Im not trying to talk down to you, but would you mind if i ask what you believe will happen to this man, now that he is dead?

  • @drumstyx6464 Yea but Hawking is a freak of nature I've never heard of anyone with ALS living even 10% long as him. It's a sad thing because even with that he has accomplished so much. I doubt any normal person could come close to that. As for this video it's not anyone's place to say if it's right or wrong. So many types of pain in this world and each person will be effected differently all the way from extreme physical to extreme mental and or both.

  • Whether it is suicide or euthanasia I would say it is seflish to end your life and leave people behind that love you e.t.c, BUT on the other hand, I have never been in a situation anywhere near serious enough that I would need to contemplate it, so I don't think I have the appropraite background and therefore,i dont have a valid opinion to say nobody should want to die.If someone wants to end their life, it should be their choice, denying this is denying a human right and a crime aginst humanity

  • @Rarzna At least you end your comment in a way that considers both perspectives. The pattern I see is that people are very quick to cast suicide as a selfish act. What they're not so quick to admit is that denying someone autonomy, even in these instances, is equally as selfish. Wanting the person to be around so that we won't have to miss them is in no way a matter of altruism.

  • it should definitely be an option

  • Why did he go to Switzerland as opposed to Washington or Oregon where physician assisted suicide is legal?

  • Your belief that there is no God does not give you the right to promote the evil of assisted suicide which can be abused by totalitarian states to get rid of undesirables. People have souls. They are not simply material matter to be thrown away like garbage.

  • Watch 'A Short Stay in Switzerland', it's on youtube, the true story of Dr Anne Turner who also died at Dignitas. It shows euthanasia in a dignified,, respectful way.

  • Comment removed

  • This is what an atheist looks like.

  • This is unacceptable. You sired yourself, you chose to be born -- so take full responsibility for this action, please.

  • @jkev76 Whoa whoa..You chose to be born??..No one had the choice to be born

  • @jkev76

    What a completely bizarre notion.

I can't even begin to understand how you formed that idea.

Are you saying we somehow attained a short period of consciousness accompanied with all the knowledge required to make an educated decision right before the sperm entered the egg giving us the choice to be born?

  • there is this thing called as the Quality of Life , i believe once u lose that...there is no more to live for. and yes i'm talking about diseases, they can be mental or physical.

now when a healthy doctor sits there telling you "you've gotta learn to live with it, but we have no cure for it" ...how would u feel ??

once u can't leave ur house... whether you are in physical pain or being tortured mentally due to ur lack of abilities...if u wanna end it ...it should be ur decision

  • @hatelifeandmyglasses I hope you are right and it was just the taste. I admit I did not want him to die. I believe people should have the right to choose to end their suffering peacefully, but it was hard to watch. I thought the issue was so important that I should watch it and learn something, but I wish I hadn't. My fiance committed suicide, but I know it's not the same. I found myself wanting to save Craig the way I didn't save Dan, but I couldn't do that either. There is no easy answer.

  • @Lyn7721 Yes, you may be right, and I hope you are right. Maybe it's what I saw because I did not want him to die. I respect a person right to choose, it's not that. It was just sad to watch, and I wanted him to live. I thought maybe the pressure of having the camera on him made him felt like he couldn't let the camera down. But I do believe people should be able to choose if they are in pain to end it peacefully.

  • ALS FUCKKKKKK ALS I HATE THE DISEASE THE SAME ONE OF MY DEARRR LOVLEY DAD !!!!! I HOPE SEE YOU IN THE AFTERLIFE IF IT IS REALLY EXISTED

  • @hatelifeandmyglasses oh okay! i misunderstood your comment. sorry! :)

  • @hatelifeandmyglasses depression is also an illness.

  • PENSA EM SE SUICIDAR?

    PARE; PENSE; REFLITA...

    LEIAM PARTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 E 7

    PARTE 1:

    blog18102009

PARE... PENSE... E REFLITA... LEIA TODAS AS PARTES QUE ESTÃO ESCRITAS DESDE A PARTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 E 7 NUNCA SE ESQUEÇA, MESMO NÃO CRENDO; VOCÊ TEM UM VALOR MUITO ESPECIAL PRA DEUS!!!

  • At the end, he did not seem to want to finish it. It seemed to me, they encouraged and forced him to finish drinking it. I wanted to scream at him "you can change your mind!!" But those two who were with him at the end never said that to him. So, so, incredibly sad to watch... RIP Craig

  • ‎"Every day you learn something new ... even in the last day." Craig Ewert

  • I hate that I feel more pain for others than myself. I just recently tried to take my life and really messed myself up. I jumped 5 stories on my feet(luckily or if your in my shoes not) I'm grateful that I'm alive but at the same time I feel that if I dove head first, I wouldn't be here to tell my story. I felt no remorse for my family or anyone. I really want to hit up Dignitas just to check it out. Life isn't for everyone. Physical pain and mental emotion pain can be just as bad if not worse

  • all these religious idiots what if the person who wants to die doesn't believe in god what right do you have to say god gave you your life when they dont believe him. Im fine with religious people so long as they dont force it onto others especially those in pain. Using the pain of others to force your shit on them should be a crime punishable by life imprisonment

  • @jimmyjimjim4567 funny thing is religious people believe its ok to kill other from another religion but no1 can kill themselves

  • The Bravest Man I Have Ever Seen!!...God Bless, I hope you can see your equally as brave wife on the other side!

  • I like the fact that the man that has a disease is being allowed to die with dignity BUT the older couple whose husband has health problems should not take her life.. She is healthy and can still contribute..its sad that she feels that she cant live without him..thats what makes me really sad :(

  • @mcrowell2011 Wait until you hear the kicker. She wound up dying of cancer, AND he is still living with his heart condition. Before I found out she passed, I thought to myself that it was a shame she loved him in some ways more than she loved herself. God answered her so she wouldn't have to live without him. Obviously, he wasn't ready to join her.

  • I'm almost positive that in the US, Washington and Oregon have legalized assisted euthanasia...

  • While I agree that suicide is a human right, it also makes me think. Shouldn't we do more to try and help these people squeeze a little bit more out of life? Look at Stephen Hawking, he is an inspiration.

  • @DJActivitY He's one of the most important scientists in the world, he has a lot to do. His life, his work, doesn't involve much physical activity. He loves what he does, he is passionate about it and despite his illnes, he can continue doing what he loves. Many people don't see the point of living if they can't do what they love, there's no point in trying to give them some joy if they can't do what they love. You might give them brief moments of happiness, but it won't make it up.

  • Fuck your evil christian tyrant god, everyone has the right to die! you force someone to stay alive against their will you're no better than a murderer, cleanse the world of all religion!

  • @mando267 Many atheist countries it's illegal, I'm agnostic but i'm for that if the person is suffering.

  • Who give the cr3p if your god is real or not anyway. It is my life..my way.

  • if you believe your life is a gift from god you are allowed to wave your right to die, this DOES NOT meen you go round forcing your opinion down peoples throats its there life not yours.

  • There is the documentary "Terry Pratchett - Choosing to die" with and about the famous author of discworld stories in which he is , due to concerings about his increasing alzheimer disease, escorting two peoples on their last journey to and in an selfdetermined death.

  • After reading many of the comments posted below I have a simple question. Would he be living months with difficulty, being paralysed etc. if we would have let him die naturally without medical interference i.e. the breathing machine pain meds etc... in the first place???

  • @byte2022

He would have been in a lot of pain if he didn't have any machinery. And the death would have been painful, are you that dumb?

  • All you political bullshitters and religious bible lovers don't know how it would feel to have a seriously fatal disease which is painful and deteriorating. It's not hard to make the decision to end your life painlessly and peacefully in your sleep than to go through degrading troublesome pain until you grind to a halt.

Political decisions don't take in moral opinions and realistic scenarios in how a person would feel. And The Bible/God ..Ha, Whatever helps you sleep at night religious morons.

  • Get the hell off of this video if you're going to give your ridiculous religious views using quotes from that damned bible of yours. Religion creates conflict and nothing more.

  • Ughh, again with religions people. Fucking shit up for everyone else.

  • all i can say is...thank you for sharing this and enlightening me

  • @Thelovelychristinaa How do you know. You can't prove their is.. but then again, nobody can prove that their isn't one. All I can say, is we shall see when we die.

  • @Thelovelychristinaa - There is no YOU, TROLL! Get a Life. Run up on ME & you'll be screaming for God.

Now go back under your bridge like a good little troll, witch!

  • What a strong person. I give him more credit than many... rest.

  • This is quite personal. I try to respect all people & have no intention of trying to meddle but I DO wish to SHARE FWIW! My personal belief is that the right to death is NOT a fundemental Right. I have a compassionate heart & can understand both perspectives but the 5th Commandment states, "Thou shalt NOT kill". To kill another or to kill oneself interferes with the natural dying process.I believe it's wrong tho1 day it seems I will die alone as I have no wife or heirs, no family. Sad but true

  • I believe that each soul has a time, a race to run & assisted suicide though it sounds humane is interfering with the natural dying process. I used to do EMT work & saw many things, many moved me deeply. I witnessed my Aunt in a coma and her family sold on the idea that assisting her to pass would be the right thing to do. I was shocked when I saw the nurse administer the lethal injection. That decision haunts them to this day. IMHO I feel it is wrong to end a life until it's run it's course.

  • The right to be murdered with consent. Yeah thats a great idea. but where do we draw the line? can anybody tell me?

  • This only indicates his weakness and laziness to fight for his life. He has mental problems rather than ALS condition. It's funny how suggestion works on people: whatever doctor says, that's exactly what happens. Not the other way around. If doctor says "youre getting better", then patient is getting better. If doctor says "youre going to die" then patient is in shock and eventually dies. Can't you see that all dieases are primarily created in mind rather than the body? Gov't making money of ppl

  • @Coml3teBliss What an igonrant comment to make. How can you possibly imagine living completely paralysed, unable to swallow, and in constant difficulty and pain? For months and months on end! No doctor has made this man take the choice - he knows he is dying and frankly even if he wasnt, suicide in his condition would be completely understandable. To choose to spend the rest of your life as a vegetable is not a lack of "weakeness and laziness", it is masochism.

  • @Coml3teBliss We are what we think. Diseases are primarily created in mind as a product of one's destructive thinking. Not one thought goes unrecorded; as soon as we think something it slowly starts to manifest in out bodies first. Negativity leads to self-destruction, nasty foods/ drug consumption. Nasty foods create physical and mental diseases. This is a closed circle of cause and effect where one leads to another, and vice versa. I have good intentions and I only want to help people :)

  • @Coml3teBliss what is a stupid thing to say, you know when you re done and ready, you dont need anyone else to say other wise. The doctor professional opinion is only to ligitamise it. "weakness and laziness to fight for his life" are you for real?

  • @keirenle Yes, of course I am for real, my friend. You really seem uninformed and I will probably have to write you a whole book for you and others to understand, sorry. In fact, you can find hundreds of books on healing. All diseases are created in mind and people actually die from their own mental picture. (Unfortunately some have to learn this truth the hard way.) Goodbye now. :)

  • I hope that I am never faced with decisions like this in my life. :(

  • @stoptherot1 i wouldnt know what to do

  • Actually i would recomend Nitrogen, if possible. Much less "twisting" so to say. Helium only as a backup option.

  • I think this man deserves the utmost respect regardless of religious/non-religious beliefs.

  • Helium

  • Ironically, Betty Coumbias died in 2009 from cancer and George is still alive to this day...

  • what do you mean he wanted to leave George bush America what does that mean???

  • @Devil7414 I'm guessing that it means he no longer wanted to live in America after seeing the turn the U.S. was taking once George W. Bush was in office.

  • God bless to Craig and his family. This very brave man I believe, did this not only for himself but also for his family.

  • It can be done with Helium, you will simply go through some seizures. They key is to have your arms on your sides when you inhale the gass in the bag. The brain isn't smart enough to realize it is inside a plastic bag, and wont try to get out on it's own. But if your hands are holding on to the bag the moment you inhale, you might "survive"

If you use Nitrogen, it will be very different, since 78% of the air you breath is Nitrogen. The brain is too stupid to fight back. No "auto immune" respons

  • And as an offnote, try to use Nitrogen instead of Helium. Make Nitrogen a priotity 1 gass, and helium only priority 2 You can do this trick with helium, but there are risks. The body does not recognize Helium as a familiar gass, so it will begin to fight back AFTER you lose consiuness! Seizures. Lots of them, and they are heavy! Could tear down the bag from your face or losen the plastic tube, if you are not carefull.

  • I should warn you tough. The 91-year old grannie Sharlotte Hydron has been "busted" by the FBI. She hasn't broken any Californian law, so she cannot be charged with anything. It's basicly a "drug bust" since she was selling something the (medical)establishment doesen't like. Anyway, go to youtube and type Helium suicide to find a short video where she shows how to make the hood.

  • Please, please help.

Someone tell me how to commit suicide painlessly, I'm too ill to travel. I want to live I love my life, I'm happily married with two sons.

I can't bear the physical or emotional pain of the advanced cancer that is consuming my body.

I need to end my life quickly and painlessly.

    Can anyone help?

  • Google Nick Klonoski

  • @JonesHenry03

    thanks

  • Its such a touchey subject with such a fine line that I dont think the human race is ready to decide its legality.

  • assisted suicide is only "illegal" in the coutries where they have the means to keep you alive

  • jesus neglects the world.

-kidnapping, enslavement, disease, poverty, depression, anxiety, war...

    suicide is not selfish

  • if it's done responsibly I don't see why it should be illegal .

  • "Anxious to leave George Bush's America." This guy is truly an intellectual man..

  • @MissPoodlePants Yea there are times in life qhere you HAVE to be selfish! You can't live life trying to please others seriously... Bug decisions in life shouldn't be influenced by anyone except yourself, they should only benefit yourself

  • Suicide should not be illegal!!! If I wanna die then no one should hve the fucking right to stop me, my death should be my own and irrelevant to the law, it's called the right to privacy

  • @Nadia2015 suicide isnt illegal, euthanasia is.

  • @wnmetal666 are you intendin to comite Suicide ???????

  • @erenei how did you come up with that?...

  • @erenei I know I am.

  • @MrKevstro wtf whay ????? waht is the problem ?????

  • @erenei Family problems, social problems, academic problems, etc.

  • @MrKevstro wtf man everything has a solution , i live in albania here is everything wrog including yours . what are we sopouse to shoot at ech other, no we live and do not think about this thing ..... sow stop saying this sheety thing and do some thing ,every thing cane makey lauht

  • @erenei and after many years you weel laugh at this idea and our problem trust me

  • Hello. I love Craig, he helped me through depression and out of suicide thoughts, in my life, he is a hero. Therefore, I made 2 music scores in his honor. Its called "The Final Right Of Death" piano, pads and his voice throughout. Listen if you have the time (= Love///Chris aka Nights Amore

  • @SolestiaGoaTrance re:pbs frontline suicide tourist doc. You might enjoy a wonderful PBS frontline documentary called so much so fast. It is amazing. Honestly. I was able to find it on youtube so you probably could too. Regards.

  • Right to death should be a fundamental human right.

  • @RealmEternal There is only 1 way to live, but MILLIONS of way to die.

  • @RealmEternal ... This is actually a very difficult question but I agree with you because I have understood what you tried to say... I just want to add that dying in itself is not a right.... The choice to die when there's no choice to continue living with dignity, this option should be a right...

  • everybody got the right to die. If you wanna die so much, why dont you kill yourself.

  • @KripDrip Very well said. Such cowardice and hypocrisy indeed: you suffer? you want to die? well be a man and do it yourself, don't ask someone else to do it for you.

  • i'm doing a speech on assisted suicide and I only wish that people would understand that there is no shame in dieing and people have the right to their own bodies and the right to die in dignity and not suffer till the end. I wish that people wouldn't drag religion into this and let the sick go and help the healthy and the ones that really need it. People should have the right and shouldn't be told that you cant

  • im from the UK, and i've always thought, if everyone has the right to life (liberty) shouldn't we have the right to die (pride)

not saying i might choose death rather then life but to me people should be able to pick what they want. and this includes in your own country too, not having to go to switzland.

and if you were in pain all and everyday of your life or couldn't move, what would you pick, life or death?

  • is this from 1996?

  • As long as I can talk, see and feel I would choose life. However If I was nearing the end anyway I mean those last few days I think I would prefer to be sent to sleep, than have my family buy my bed listening to the death rattle.

This man is still chatting away, he could have hung on a bit longer. I think Euthanasia should be used to hurry up the finale stage not just stop living when there is still life in you. So many wonderful conversations can occur in those finale days.

  • I don't judge the wife for wanting to die with her husband yet shes physically well that's not totally right in my mind that her husband not try to talk her out of it. His right to die I don't dispute, either help someone do it right or have them do it themselves but if it goes wrong it can really screw things up and then their stuck on suicide watch strapped down all the time. If she can be given the right to die out of fear of live without him then does any blind person want the same?

  • @runebeo

the wife died in 2009 of cancer and the husband is still living and has

    not done the suicide

  • @runebeo

the wife died in 2009 of cancer and the husband is still living and has

God only wanted the wife God did not want the husband and has left

    him here.

  • I got my ALS diagnosis 4 months ago. Already I am in a wheelchair 24/7 as my legs have gone completely. My arms too are now extremely weak and my fingers stiff and numb and I am beginning to get throat problems. I will choose to die when I have had enough of this horrible disease most likely using a morphine overdose if I cannot get hold of nembutal. I have no wish to live my life paralysed and breathing through a mechanical device and being fed through a tube sticking out of my stomach.

  • @phuketrex oh man i'm so sorry to hear that :( I hope it doesn't get too bad for you

  • That's it. Courage, go ahead. Nothing else expect us, unless our faith in something that is not real, it is in our mind to justifiy the life and the end.

  • Why do British people write the dates as 26 January 2011 and American people write the date as January 26, 2011?

  • @Duvmasta

It's written both ways in America.

  • Don't listen to the puritanical fools. Consider the fact that they believe in a place of everlasting torment and pain and burning fire that not only murderers and such go to, but also peaceful loving people who happen to disbelieve in the god they do. They not only believe this, they also feel good about it.

  • euthanasia should be legal the day when before birth everyone is asked if they want to be born or not...

  • This man is a victim.

He had to live as long as God would allow!!!

He was very afraid of his future, he wanted to be alive (and could have some more happy years!) but tried rationally to assure himself that death is the best option...

Unfortunately, his wife and children did not show him HOW HE IS BELOVED and IMPORTANT for THEM, EVEN IN HIS WEAKNESS AND ILLNESS!

I feel great sorrow of him...

    poor man...

TRUST IN GOD! He is the only Supporting Colomn!

  • @Tasya1smile Shut the fuck up. He was diagnosed with a terminal disease. He was deteriorating faster than it took for God to create this world, his loving family knew what was best for him. Which was to pass away peacefully and painlessly. Maybe if people of your religion would stop arguing about stem cell treatment, he probably could have "some more happy years" that you are talking about.

  • @MuskyCornseed You never know how long your life will last with even the horrible diagnosis and which quality it will have.

People shared here their much happier experiences. They lived 10 years and could provide care of themselves with the same diagnosis.

"Never give up, do not be terrified". This man is a victim of his fears and hard-hearted relatives...

He did not want to die, he wanted to live…

  • @Tasya1smile

YYOU ARE FUCKING RETARDED. God doesn't decide anything, God isn't real. Someone can take your life for no reason and it isn't a master plan by a magical being in the fucking sky.

God is not real, and your bible is filled with murder, death, bigotry, slavery, and suffering.

Fucking open your eyes you dumb retard.

  • @soadpwnsyou God is not a magical being in the sky. Stop trying to degrade the belief in God by giving him degrading definitions. It only degrades your intelligence because they are completely false and sound like a two-year-old made them up.

I don't know which Bible you are reading, but my Bible is most definitely filled with love, hope, and wisdom. Of course, you only mention the parts that are more controversial. Have you ever even read it? I don't think so. You are a fool.

  • @ColibriAnna08

You are fucking retarded... You are calling me a fool when there is 100% proof of God telling everyone to kill people. There is love in the bible, but also rape, slavery, bigotry and murder. But religious people like you are fucking idiots and say that isn't real but everything else is. You can't pick and chose, if you say the Bible is the word of God, then everything in it has to be true in your religion or you don't believe in that religion.

  • @ColibriAnna08

I read the bible you fucking retard, how do you think I know there is death, love, killing, murder, hope, and everything in there. The bible is ONE BIG CONTRADICTION.

They are not completely false, you just deny it because you don't want to hear the turth.

Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)
