I mean i'm not American, but after a catastrophic event such as 9/11 wouldn't you want your leader to come in with a stronger speech? Through observations (especially in school 01-10) I noticed a decrease in tolerance for anything that didn’t “conform,” issues like Muslim faith, homosexuality, immigration. I saw my closest friends evolve into bigots, because of the fear and anger instilled in them from that event. (Analytical, but not sound)

Illegal immigration however, is just that, illegal. To expect people to follow the law is not bigoted.
