Can you get big tread tyres for chairs, or I wonder if you could fit something like a ride on mower tyre.. there's no impedence on the outside of the wheels..so you could get the extra width in there..

I am a Quadriplegic too and also give my wheelchairs some hammer too! I haven`t yet had a plow blade on tho! But had it in deep mud and snow. They do quite well don`t they, grip wise!

I have a chair on tracks with a honda engine now! (see my video`s) Will have to try that at snow plowing (if we get any snow!)

@benmk21600 I used to wrench on chairs in E. Mass. I knew some crazy dudes, but no snow plowers! Be careful with that i.c.e. There's a reason they don't make 'em that way!

Quads can have some use of their arms, depending on the level of injury. I'm a quad because my fingers don't move. I only have about 60% use of my arms.

@Daisy6969 There are many misconconceptions about paras and quads. Quadriplegic does not mean completely immobile, simply that all four (quad) are affected to some degree. Paraplegics have lower limbs affected and hemiplegics have one side affected. Some paras and quads can walk. Some have a lot of function and sensation, others have little.
