Haha, I remember that bonus stage. I still have no idea what triggers it to activate, it seems like it just randomly comes up after the final stage.

And then there's the reference to the "Heavy Nova" game. One has to wonder that since this level is exclusively in the MD port, if this secret level was developed by Seibu or Micronet.

But most importantly, use the laser you sissy!

I'm proud to say I'm one of the few who got to see the ending and credits at the end.

I was always wondering what was waiting on that stage! Every time I got to this stage, my firepower was limited from dying before and my bomb supply was exhausted. I never made it past the four gunships at the beginning.
