  • *shivers running down my spine* This is truly wonderful! Please don't ever stop playing!

  • Requires a level of skill that most of us could not even dream of.

  • cool, reminds me of okami

  • This makes me happy. The sound is so calming.

  • that realy is a beautiful sound ive been trying to find out what instrument it comes from for a while

  • Ah, the famous and deceased zither player Anton Karas from Austria now has a successor...

  • I think it's a Japanese Koto.

  • @bluey2001 no it's not a Japanese Koto. it's a Chinese instrument.

  • @MrsChasen91 koto and the others (gayageum, yatga, dan tranh) have come from gu zheng, so they are very similar in that respect

  • @1964Yojimbo

but it is a zither. The Guzheng, Koto, Dan Tranh, and Kayagum are the major "zithers" of the Asias.

  • @samalvor well it is

  • haha, i loved that bit where you played your zither

  • @s0673451 actually it's called a guzheng.

  • Real nice to listen to you play! You´re really mastering your instrument (is it koto or what is it called?).

  • it's called gouzhen

  • guzheng

  • That was the most enthralling, enchanting, soothing sound I have heard in a while. This instrument is new to me, honestly really new. I have always my whole life known that sound but only recently after reading the book The Importance of Living by Lin Yutang and reading of multiple diffrent point of views on enjoying this instruments sound I did research on it, and listened to many different people play it I discovered I love this instrument. The fact that you are my age captivates me even more

  • Soothing to the soul!

  • Wow!

    Sounds so Asian!!!

    I love it!!!

  • wow

  • COOL!

  • Reminded me why I love traditional Chinese music.

    Great talent you've got there.

  • do u have the music score?

  • wow. u just get lost in that

  • This was nice.

You need to work on your tuning a bit, though... :-s

  • omg that was absolutely amazing 5/5 and favou

    rited

  • No I think eastern tuning often sounds a little "wrong" to people from the west, they go more on quarts and even eights!

  • Wops this must have been posted at the wrong place ;)

  • bravissima! what wonderful control you've got over the zither! i hope you're able to make a high quality recording soon:)

  • Nice.

  • That's a koto U wank

  • No, actually, it's a guzheng. Both the koto and the guzheng belong in the zither family.

  • actually, zither is closer to a family name. the whole family name is "citre". look it up chump.
