You should learn how to read music- it's beneficial.. But well, you're so good already. I mean, playing by ear? Haha, I can't do that that well and I've been playing for like 13 years! And cello for 7!

My opinion is you're amazing.. But if you learned to read music it might be easy if you saw a sheet of music you don't have to have a recording or something of it- but you can just read, maybe?

You play with great feeling and have an natural sense of timing. 5* I do think that learning to read music would expand your music vocabulary and allow you to learn tunes quickly. Also, if you wish to play with other musicians, it's quite helpful to know about key signatures and chord sequences. Lots of new books available - making it easier and more fun to learn how to understand music. Great music!! Lorna
