  • Man I love sheogorath :p

  • How Do u get someone to run up to u and give u the quest

  • 8:02 thought she was gonna give you blow-job

  • i dont think its completely set in stone that he actually is the champion. it could have been that the champion was simply a mortal placeholder until the real sheogorath could return. he is, after all, unable to die being a daedric prince. the sheo in skyrim probably means that he 'saw' the things in oblivion happen from afar,or by watching the champion's progress. He doesn't explicity state that he was 'behind' them. IMO tuning into a jibberish god is a sad fate for the epic COC

  • By whom ? WAIT ! DONT TELL ME let me guess

  • It's kinda funny how the first 4 TES games take places within a few decades, leaving plenty of time for player character cameos but didn't have any.

Then you have Skyrim, which takes place 200 years after Oblivion, and you get to talk to the main character from that game.

  • @CanadiensUnplugged The problem is the first 3 heros has no default avatar therefore to make them into a cameo appearance in later game would ruin the free design side of TES. Champion of Cyrodiil on the other hand takes over Sheogorath's avatar (thus his appearance) so no matter what race he or she originally was, Champion of Cyrodiil would look like Sheogorath.

  • @Flaaketopy he does have a beard though...

  • Where's his beard!? I cant believe it! Now, everybody in Skyrim can have a beard.. but Sheogorath doesnt have one!

  • HAFRUMPH

  • like if you hate that you wasted so much time just so your character could become a crazed lunitic

  • YES, what frost said!

The Sheogorath encountered in the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the player character from the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, fully morphed into his role as the Daedric Prince of Madness, as Haskill and Sheogorath himself had previously predicted. So, in a sense, when meeting Sheogorath, the player is actually meeting the Hero from the previous game, the first such occurance in the Elder Scrolls series.

  • I like how it implies this Sheogorath is the player's character from Oblivion :3

  • just finished this quest :D love that guy lol

  • how do you start the quest!!!!!!!

  • @mrirish445 Go to Solitude during the day and a crazy beggar may run up to you and give you the quest.

  • @Deftdeer with that hip bone of pelagius thing?

  • does anybody know how to get the staff of sheogorath??

  • Hold on, in the Shivering Isles you BECOME Sheogorath at the end. So does that mean the Sheogorath that you talk to in Skyrim is your character from oblivion?

  • @Renagade4 It sure is!

  • @Renagade4 They actually said in Shivering Isles that you might actually become like the other Sheogorath. So basically he continues to live by making your character turn into him.

  • @Renagade4 Lol never thought about that. But that makes no sense at all really, stupid Shivering Isles expansion with it's stupid story :P

  • @Renagade4 Wait then theres the easter egg with the adoring fan who killed the main character...

  • @Anel972 The Oblivion Crisis happens in 3E 433, Skyrim's events happens on 4E 201. As you can see, the Original Adoring Fan is Dead and Cicero wasn't even born yet. Cicero's journals talk about him posing as a "Star-Struck Fan" to kill A Grand Champion of the Arena. If Cicero killed The Hero of Oblivion, at least he would say "Champion of Cyrodiil" or something like that. Plus, THO/CC is a god, immortal and one of the strongest beings (If not the strongest, he's a hero and a god) alive.

  • @Renagade4 as the oblivion hero took the role, a small fragment of sheo's role grew larger until it ejected from the heroic host and sheo was reborn, u can read it from the 34,857th volume of the Prophetic Deduction

  • @Renagade4 that is just epic

  • i think it would also be cool to meet one of the septims. kinda like when you meet pelinal whitestrake in knights of the nine. possibility to be deemed true heir to the throne anyone? of course youre not related to the septims. its just because you are dragonborn like they were. or maybe you could meet tiber septim himself. now maybe delphine and esbern and the blades can be of use as you reconquer tamriel like tiber did :D

  • i do miss sheogorath. maybe he hinted towards future DLC when he said "if you ever find yourself in new sheoth." i would look forward to more shivering isles DLC. it has to involve a new threat though. i mean, sure it could be jyggalag again (of course sheogorath wouldnt actually turn into him, hed just be at war with him). the isles need to be changed a bit (sheogorath couldve changed it. knowing him, he would call it realm interior design :P ). i just like sheogorath.

  • Did being in the shivering isles cause the Champion of Cyrodiil to develop that accent.

  • Awesome! He sounds the same too, I was worried because Peryite doesn't sound as cool as he did in Oblivion, he now sounds like a snooty elf from Oblivion complete with an overly patronizing tone and long pausing in sentences.

  • He certainly is the Champion of Cyrodiil. He talks about butterflies, a fox, and a severed head which mean respectively: The butterflies seen at the beginning of the Shivering Isles, the Gray Fox of the Thieves Guild, and the severed head of Mathieu Bellamont's mother from the Dark Brotherhood.

  • @TheFlipShying sadly enough i found a book that says cecios from the dark brotherhood says he acted as an adoring fan to the grand champion just to kill him... therefore the adoring fan kills you....

  • @TANKBEATEVERYTHING Skyrim takes place 200 years after the events of Skyrim - there is no way then that it was the same Grand Champion and the same Adoring Fan. It was merely a reference to it.

  • Wabbajack wabbajack wabbajack wabbajack wabbajack wabbajack wabbajack wabbajack

  • How is he back?

  • @CemeterySunshine At the begining of the video Sheogorath mentions how he was there when Martin transformed into a dragon. I guess our hero from Oblivion fully became Sheogorath just like Jyggalag thought he might.

  • @DDragonfly1990 indeed. This guy is definately the Champion of Cyrodil.

Nice to now Jyggalag didn't hold a grudge and destroy the shivering isles.

  • I fucking love Sheogorath. I'm very pleased to see he's returned, though I miss his more demented comments.

  • How'd you activate this? Lol.

  • @DirtyDishSoap look for a crazy guy in solitude.

you'll get the mind of madness quest.

  • Ahhh cheese

  • cheese for everyone!

  • @tomyo75 HUZAH!

  • @Deftdeer Is that a beard I see?! *Rips your jaw off along with the beard* There! All done! Sandwich?

  • @tomyo75 NO, WAIT! NO CHEESE FOR ANYONE! That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese.

  • cheese!!!!!
