Boss Phantom 12" subs in a SRT-4

i buying some subs that run 1000 rms and i was thinking of buying a kenwood 1000 watt amp. is that goin to be enough or do i need a moer powerful amp? if so what kind and where could i buy it??

I got 2 15" Phantoms comin in the mail, but everywhere I read they say that these things will blow after a short time if you run them lower than 4 ohms.... do you have yours on 2 ohms atm? is it still working fine?

@dudeman10 haha well thats good to hear, but either way sounds like a decent setup..those subs are pretty cheap but you get alot of bang for your buck, my boy had a couple in his sable and they beat the fuck outta that car
