  • а я сразу увидел Qeen на h4 с последующим checkmate ))

Поздравьте любителя - i see it))

  • Great Study...!! Useful info.. thanks for sharing..!!

  • I agrre it is ashame that the GM didn't see that. Its would be so beautiful if he saw that moves and play it. So sad

  • hey in the second puzzle why did the GM resign???he could have played Rb1 to eliminate the threat of checkmate due to black's Re1??

  • @KARTIKEYA007 White is a piece down

  • @YtubeUserr But Rybka says that the position is still drawn!!

  • great video. on 9:40 instead of be6 why not e6? the king has an escape sqaure and will still have his rook

  • What Computer Software Are You Using? Fritz? Rybka?

  • @TheRandomKidsVideos This is Deep Rybka on the Aquarium platform. Thanks for watching.

  • now i can play better, thanks!!!

  • @8:15 You said g6 bishop. Did you mean g7? Also @8:02 you said the knight on f3. Could you clarify these moves again? I'll send you a game I played the other day and would love to analyse for the mistakes both players made. Thanks.

  • I was too confused to even start looking for moves at the last example - I thought you were showing the wrong board. I can't see any check at 06:50, even though you said "check". And it looks like the rook on h1 is completely undefended - why not simply take it?

  • @Bobstew68 - Not sure why I said check. Sorry about that! It's just a regular capture.Taking the rook on h1 is the normal or automatic move. There must have been a rook on h8 one move earlier that had just captured the rook on h1. I am sure the black player fully expected Tal to recapture on h1. Taking on h1 would not be a winning move whereas gxf6 is winning as a result of the tactics. I didn't explain it very well, but if you examine the variations I presented it should become clear. Thanks

  • @isayoldchap1 Thank you. And thanks for making these videos, I'm having fun watching them. I'm only recently starting to get into chess, and thus I'm looking up strategies, principles and tactics.

  • in the first example if black plays bishop C8 first, doesnt this create an escape square for the king? of course this just drops the bishop, but its better than check mate right?

  • this is actually common with tal if you watch his games a lot of his attacks are successful because his opponent trusted his judgement . Tal was famous for making INSANE sacrifices so his opponent probably was to nervous to think strait

  • the tal combination was fantastic! thanks for sharing. what book did you use to find these examples? thanks.

  • I have tons of books with combinations and tactics. I think this one was "Can you be a tactical chess genius?" which has tactics varying from intermediate to extremely difficult. Thanks for watching!

  • Maybe for next video you can share with us tactics with goal eg; 1.Tactics for checkmate, 2.Tactics for material gain, or 3.Tactics for positional advantages. Thanks you Mr. Isayoldchap.

  • Thanks for the comment. I have lots of ideas for videos and I always appreciate feedback like this. I would really like it if some viewers would send me their games to analyze. The games don't have to be of a high standard or anything.

  • Yes, you are correct. I should have said there is a forced win in the position. In an earlier take I included this variation, but I think the point is, black can resign after the first move- there's no good defense. Thanks a lot for watching!

  • What of in the first problem black blocks with the Bishop to create a escape square?

Well he is down material but there is no mate.
