i go to a christen school and im not there religon Im christen just not there religon so its weird to listen to there songs but if this is a christen worship song im a bit surprised because i think its a bit intristing but there is one thing i know i will change the world for the better maybe i will do it through computer scince maybe though a shoe shop but i promise to help people ... no matter what.
Do you honestly think that doesn't happen in America? That is sadly ignorant. It's not only a problem somewhere you cannot see, it is a problem everywhere that you can see, if you choose to open your eyes.
How wonderfully lucky we are to be watching this on the internet.....If we're watching and Listeng to this on the internet! wow!.....well thats wonderful. I mean it must mean we have a computer or hell atleast acess to one.... any one of those children would give anything. anythign.... just to switch places with us for one day...why..... just to have food.... raise your hand if you can go to the tap, the bathroom sink, the kitchen sink....right now and get water. Lucky you.
this really makes you think...in america we worry about taxes and other things. some countries its either life or death every day. others... you have no choice but to die of hunger or dehydration. im putting this as my main video on my channel so everyone can see what we have come to. ill put it on autoplay so they have no choice but to wake up
I think the beauty of this video is that it couples the excitement and joy of the song with the sad pictures of malnourished children. It is because of this combination, we can see that God's love flows in every part of the world in every part of life the worse looking parts and the better. And since God's love is like this, and we are His lovers, what else can we do at pictures like this but get off of our seats and scream "Let us love!"
This song is amazing and with the pictures you posted, it made me think really. especially 1:33. that child had absolutely no meat on his bones. That was sad. I have been a sponsor for a little girl for a little over a year now. She lives in Burkino Faso Africa. It feels so great to be a sponsor to a child. I also get letters from her and I send letters and pictures too. Its an amazing feelings knowing I am helping a child in need. compassioncom
if you say that the pictures of starving children on here is depressing then really i dont know what to say. It is a humbling thing not a depressing thing. It is an inspiring thing not a lowering thing. This song says EVERYTHING "Let us love like we were children" do those look like happy children???? look at the spoiled children in america....the children on this video long to be those children.....nake a difference
And yet even with starving children God is still good. Who can know the purposes and plans of God? As Job said, should we accept the good from God and not the bad? I am by no means saying God's plan was for children to starve, Adam ruined that though. Prayer folks. Thank you Tidal for the pictures. It is a good reminder of how privileged we are. If we are where we are then God had a reason for that, maybe it's so we can show his love and mercy and glory through helping children like this.
Showing the pics of the kids really opened my mind. I always knew that kids were starving, but this is just so freakin sad. Now, I guess i "woke up" and am going to try and change the world.
@seddieluvr1098 why do you need to be older than 12? you can do stuff now. you could collect money at your school or collect clothes and stuff and send them to children in need. you dont need to be an adult to make a difference =)
Oh i'm sorry, you see starving children as "Shit". =) I made this vid 4 myself so I could care less if you hate it or not. So I dont need your crappy little attitude on my wall.
@Tidalzone1 That's obviously not what I meant. I was just a bit taken aback when I came to hear a good song and then my day is unexpectedly ruined by pictures of malnourished children.
@UmbrellaSkies5 Well starving kids was the 1st thought that came to mind when I 1st heard it. When the lyrics come to "what is" in todays society it shows starving kids which goes with ".It's hard to stay here but where do we go
I know we can't feel it anymore
It's true that time is wearing us down
We fall further and further away" And the same 4 when the song gets to what could be it shows how things would be for the once starving kids, if we would just "wake up."and do something.
Wow. Some of those images almost had me literally in tears. Alot of them were beautiful pictures of healthy children, but the ones who were so emaciated that they looked like skeletons, wow. Those poor little babies. God help them. Makes me really want to be a missionary one day.

this band is heavily involved in helping children in africa through missions, so this video is very appropriate
