I've pretty sure you can do the same trick with pretty much any nine letter words with sufficient vowel-to-consonant ratios, so long as you remove the letters in a certain sequence. I thought this was talking about removing the first letter, then second, thrid, and so on and still having a full word there. But this is not that impressive, and not a good riddle.

Yes, but that only works if you remove a letter so that your result is an English word. If you remove any ol' random letter, you can end up with just letters and no word.

Like STARTLING, without the second t, you get STARLING, which isn't a word.
