Excellent Break-In To Programing!! Not to overdone, yet it still catches the viewers attention. Though I think it would sound better if the station was IDed as K R E M 2 (spelled out)~Rather then KREM 2 (Making a word). Just my opinion. Still Like The Break-In Though!!
This is a CBS affiliate~But I understand what you mean. I live in the Chicago land area-and our local CBS affiliate (WBBM-TV) says: "This is a special report from the CBS 2 newsroom."
@truedanielg Orlando already has a NBC 2 except they call it as WESH (as a word) 2 News and it is a NBC station.

NBC 5 has recently been using: "Now, BREAKING NEWS, FROM NBC 5 NEWS."
ABC 7's is: "We Interrupt our regular program schedule, for a SPECIAL REPORT, From ABC 7 NEWS."
ABC 7, in my opinion, has the best SPECIAL REPORT intro.
Very formal, which is how it needs to be.

I agree. when the say KREM, it sounds funny. Maybe just drop KREM and say Channel 2 or NBC 2? Just a thought/
