@Spronkify It's using the old style boosters placed throughout the track to keep momentum going, For example you see one to the left at around 0:30 and again at 5:22 to the left (you'll see another minecart which acts as the booster).

@ibanezbuyer there are "boosters" placed in a few locations to keep the cart momentum going,(you can tell where a booster is when you see a cart off to the side of the track), I learned how to make them by researching on Youtube & Forums.
