You do realize that, in terms of pure transit speed, super speed is the fastest movement in the game. Period. It's not a belief, but a fact. Using it to get around quickly may be the odd part, since, unlike Flight, a speedster has to jump around a lot to avoid being interrupted from traveling in speedforce mode.

@drell2471 There's a speed upgrade that you can get at level 9, and it's under the skills list. It makes you run like that but idk about the gliding on lightning part.

And what about people who like characters like the Hulk? they want to jump high and run NOT AS FAST AS THE FLASH but decent enough. Acrobatics is not it, it just annoys me that they want our money and don't have the decency to give us what we want.

I like this game and all,but I think it lacks in customization of clothing and powers, they need as much customization as Champions online which is also Free 2 play. You can't literally make whatever you want in DCU but you can in Champions (Looks wise) I wish for once a video game company just nails it, I'm tired of them being half assed or not fully there. Give us near limited customization, tone the graphics down if need be it's not needed to have a good time on the game and give more powers.

Flying is better once you get to Level 9 and get the super sonic flight skill, then your faster than super speed people and can go MUCH MUCH higher

flying is the best movement. i could give a rats ass about the abilities. but it helps when u can hit L3 and hawk down anyone in the game

Flying is nice,but super speed allows you to go across the town much faster,while flying is good if you want to stay out of reach.Acrobatics is good for stealth by holding on the building,while with flying you can't climb and with super speed you can't stay on the building or you'll fall.But i still choose super speed cuz i like speed.(Thou i always wanted to fly)

@xMGOMercury both :) and yes both versions are pretty much exactly the same except pc has a slight graphics advantage, ps3 controls are easier though so you probably get more use of your powers, not just your skills

@Husino Well I can tell you that once you get the upgraded super speed you can also have fun super jumping, trust me Super Speed is the most fun movement mode in the game. But I have to say playing a game only for some one little thing really is just...no. It would be like wanting the newest Pokémon game just for this one new pokémon. 50 bucks well spent.

@Narasukedon the heroes sadly my char on the ps3 is one two are pussies. as i got villians on the pc heroes ganging only the low lvl villians so i trained my way up to 17 to protect lower lvl areas and hell to much noobs in dc univer even killing lvl 30's with no problem lvl 25's lvl 20s they giveup way to fast and run away...

on my hero char i never have been ganged by a villian and if this get to happen i simply blame pussy heros with no skills but are sad cause there no hacks for kids so

@mrkanepker @mrkanepker You're right, it could never rival WoW in these subjects: Lame factor, outdated graphics, poor dodging and block mechanics, Slow movement speeds. Reason why? Because DCUO doesn't have any of those... The only thing WoW's got is a good name(Blizzard) behind it and too much land to explore that eventually just all looks the same because of said reasons above...

@Missioneer Old post, I know, but I will say this: WoW does have that quirky ability to fit you in with your niche community on any particular server rather quickly. I've played DCUO for quite awhile, and I haven't had much of that. The social interface and aspect is a little... off, so to speak. But who knows, maybe the F2P thing will make things pick up.

@Missioneer In my opinion, DCUO is more of a MMO Action game, not an MMORPG (If anyone really cares). Some people have different opinions on the two genres. I personally love DCUO because of the ability to jump and the ability to fight without waiting for an attack to land.
