Those 26 likes are from me haha...This is absolutely amazing, I adore this video, the song choices, the way you put it together, the clips, it's all splendid, you did a great job =)...I love it-
I also watched this film initally for the appeal of Dolly Parton! It's a brilliant tale of love, strength and the ultimate power of friendship through thick and thin.
You did a great job, but to make it a bit more emotional for people who haven't seen it...i would have faded in some key lines from the beginning to the end like when shelby was going into shock at the parlor to sally field in the hospital tell her to wake up and then at the funeral crying to the end when enelle wanted to name her baby shelby. Just a thought but other than that it was very emotional and beautiful. Thanks for the long hours you put into it for us magnolias fans.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE! My sister's husband and his family were in the movie. In fact, the house that Sally Field and her family live in is the same one his grandparents live in! Great job!
And WOW did your sister's husband's grandparents know the original 'Shelby' then? I know that the town they filmed in was the one where she actually lived. And it's a pretty small town.
Wow really nice job on the video ! And it appears we have a rascal flatts fan and there's certainly nothing wrong with...that!!! Very well done !Great movie, great emotions all around ! You got my vote !
Awesome job! I can't tell you how many times I've watched this movie. It's my absolute #1 favorite. You really did it justice. You did good & thanks for sharing.
Thanks Carson! I used Videora, on Henry's advice from a random thread on the Taylor board from ages ago... I think it was when I'd "left" and was signing on invisible. Anyway, glad you like it :) Ever seen it?
Oh thanks so much!! It means a lot. I'm still not that sure that the meaning of switching the moods so quickly is evident but I'll see how it does with viewers. Shelby's death happens very suddenly in the movie and so I wanted to make it like that in the film, I also wanted to show when the song changed back to Stand about how people can rise up from the depths of despair.
But yesm now I've talked too much. Thanks so much for the comment!
I only saw this for the first time 2 days ago, and I made the video yesterday, but the events are so vividly etched in my mind. I kept the whole scene with Sally Field crying at the funeral because I just felt it was such a wonderful piece of acting.
es hermoso este video!!!!! cada vez q lo veo, no paro de llorar...... muy similar a mi vida:(

That's what I liked about this video. You showed that people can rise up from the depths of despair with the help of friends.
That's why this is such a wonderful movie in so many ways.
You are very welcome.
