  • omg u look like Edward from twilight :|

  • check out Paprika by Satoshi Kon. it's quite phenomenal

  • oh god. you like iron giant! I think that movie was not recognized as it should be, even he was severely rejected. even so, is one of those movies that make a robot can be basic and still be the best hero for a kid :)

  • Is animated and anime the same thing? Anime is like normal movie in Japan, just wondering

  • Finally, and animated top 10 that doesn't mention Lion King! You, sir, rock.

  • @BorisFangirl

    but Lion King is great

  • Very good list but in my opinion any animater worth their salt should have snow white on their list

  • yeezy brought me here

  • You seem like a really good person. I also trust your judgment - I will definitively check out a few of the films you recommended.

  • Akira is soooo scary!!! but i had to finish it b/c it's so intriguing!! :)

  • I loved akira!!

  • Other than low quality video, good list, and I do intend to see these movie.

  • Aye what the comment below says: The Secret of Kells is one of my favorite animation films. Just reallyinnovative stuff! ^^

  • If I may make a suggestion, if you haven't seen it already, check out "The Secret of Kells", it's very stylized, but so beautiful to watch, and the story is just amazing. I highly recommend it =^.^=

  • akira is epic love tha film

  • awesome hair dude

  • Why do you look like Edward?! I think at least 5,000 girls thought you were the guy in Twilight.

  • I'd love to hang out with you and talk about films with you man

    still cool vid :D

  • @77127Shadow that's exactly how I do my hair every morning.

  • Good list man. these are my top 10 10) Heavy Traffic 9) Fantastic Mr. Fox 8) The Nightmare Before Christmas 7) Coraline 6) Fantastic Planet 5) Fritz the Cat 4) The Lion King (I know it borrows from Kimba the White Lion but the story/animation/music makes up for it imo) 3) Wizards 2) Fantasia 1) Les Triplettes De Beville Chosing top 10 out of a feild with so many different masterpeices is really really tricky however and I love many many others.
  • @AungUnElric nice top 10 to you as well. Good to see Fantastic Mr. Fox on there. I am a fan of all the movies listed as well. It sure is difficult to make a list and as I said in the video I hope the list changes as more excellent films come out. GOOO ANIMATION!!!

  • @ashram6 Something that I've noticed in the world of animation is that there have been pleanty of adult aimed mature hand-drawn animated films like Heavy Metal, Akria and Fritz the Cat but I've never seen or heard of any mature cgi animated films. I prefer hand-drawn anway but it would sure be interesting to see a Pixar animation style movie with a lot of crude humor or anime style violence.

  • @AungUnElric Well you could probably count Legend of the guardians: the owls of ga'hoole but it doesn't really get too mature. It's about as mature as 3D animated films really get because the main character's brother get's burned alive and the main character impales the bad guy.

  • @sunset261 The cgi animation in that movie was gorgeous looking, probably the best I've seen in a fully animated cgi film. It deffinatly could have been alot darker though.

  • @AungUnElric there's also funal fantasy: spirits within.

  • @AungUnElric the triplets of belleville is my fave too! not sure of fritz the cat though

  • @therocker33dc yeh Fritz isn't everybodys thing but I still love it. Very very infulential to adult orientated animation though.

  • I watched spirited away last week, and it's really good, thank you^^

  • About your Akira Version: I got the german DVD it says "New Japanese Version" but i cant select Japanese Audio either.

  • Holy crap it's Johnny Depp's kid brother!!! Cool list though.. Secret of Nimh was awesome, it did freak me out as a kid! LOL!! Imma check that Spirited away flick.

  • nice man. Do you ever watch ANIMATRIX, HEVY METAL, MAX and MARRY, i can see in your list, thats gonna be nice to watch.

Big respect from Serbia, and great choise, SPIRIT AWAY my favorite too.nice job

  • pinoccio freaked me out when i was little.

  • hahaha

  • It was good.

  • :D

  • I honestly prefer Miyazaki's earlier movies, when they were more like adventure films

  • How did I know that Spirited Away was gonna be in this list?! During the final 3 I knew that movie was gonna be in there! Great film. One of Miyazaki's best in my opinion :)

  • Awesome top 10! I love Miyazaki too! Have you seen Gedo Senki, his son's film?

  • Awesome that you picked out wallace and gromit. the shorts are awesome. =)

  • I LOV Hayao Miyazak !!!

i loved all of his work but it waz only years after watching most of them i found out they were all made by the same person =P

Howl's moving castle X Spirited Away X Kiki's delivery servise all my top 3 favs atm

  • spirited away was the best i have evar seen....i watched it like 7 min ago

  • spirited away

  • For a second there i though you weren't going to mention Miyazaki. Whew!

  • im sorry but you looked demented but cool vids though

  • Great Choices!! and I know these are YOUR picks, but the 1984 Transformer Movie would have been one of my picks.

  • @Jazzy9964 yeah how can i take this list seriously when there is no 1986 transformers the movie?

  • Absolutely LOVE your list. Though I would go with Totoro rather than Spirited away.

  • I love all films of Miyazaki!!!!! =)

  • You just became one of my personal heroes. :D

  • i have to say, you're choices of films are very good.

i also love how you added Wallace & Gromit on the list too. good choice.

  • very cool room dude, you're a very creative artist! alot of your pics are solid also :)

  • Spirited Away was flawless. And so was NIMH. I loved both of them, and have fallen for their MC's, and there is no reason for anyone to not see them or any work by their creators.

  • Good list, but needs moar Satoshi Kon though.

  • You truly have great taste in animation. I suggest you check out Ralph Bakshi. It's either hit or miss, but I have a feeling you'd enjoy him.

  • Man, I love Akira, the first time I saw it I found the animation simply mind blowing (especially for a movie originally made in 1988) and the imagery was just so dark and disturbing that it just stuck with me.

  • spirited away=win

  • Nice choice!

  • Hey it's Diana. Thumbs up for all of your choices I agree 100 percent! Though my favorite Miyazaki films are "Whisper of the Heart" and "The Cat Returns". I just love the loop he did with them.

    ~De~

  • thank you! the cat returns was awesome as well!

  • @ashram6 good list, but you have to include Metropolis (Anime version), i'm so glad a Studio Ghibli film was at number 1, you have good taste.

  • @ashram6 quick question. what's the name of the animated movie where there is a giant machine (when i say gaint i mean GIANT) where a large city resides ina dome on it's back. there's a war going on outside the domed city....not the best description but i just have to know!! oh! it's probably a post-apocaliptic earth...dunno

  • @ashram6 nvm i found it ^.^ it was Ark
