Astronomy 7B - Lecture 1 - sporadic slides - published at instructor request

Lectures 3 thru 6 are missing from the series and the remainder have only "sporadic" visual support--all of the derivations you'll have to either find elsewhere. The quality of the lectures is outstanding; wish Prof Bloom would fill in the missing lectures and maybe get one or more of those GSI's to develop a web page where derivations, problem sets, etc can be posted. That would make for an absolutely outstanding on-line class. Also much easier to find the vids in sequence from the UC-B site.

Man! This guy did not get into the explanation until 1/2 an hour into the tape! This is why I much study alone with a colleague rather than attend a class with such an instructor. All in all I was very board with this and red the papers myself and passed the exam with nothing needing to be changed.
