  • I'm gonna use this for my fb page ;) love it! Thanx

  • i'm sorry to interrupt you, but horses can enjoy tricks, and riding. trust is a beautiful thing, what you can't understand, i think. this horses absolutely trust in this man, they are doing this things, because they WANT and not because it's ORDERED with spurs, or another things. maybe, you should try to understand this kind of training, before you say anything.

have you heard about parelli, or natural horse training? it's unbelievable, but it's WORKING!

  • @Azura0405 What's so natural about *tricks*??

  • Thank you for my lucky tears also at THIS moment ..... ;o) As everybody can see - "IT"`s POSSIBLE and REALITY" what such a lot of us feel and wish ... !!

So ... keep on searching and trying ...

  • selbst wenn er lügt, muß man das so erst mal nachmachen! Egal, ob das Pferd das schon vorher konnte oder nicht!!!

  • Some people are claiming that it would be impossible to train horses without bits and spurs and that Nevzorov wouldn't be able to do that on a horse that was not pre-trained using bits and spurs. Is that true, or are his horses truly trained without such tacks?

  • Strage and very secretive. He wants people to ride without a bridle, but he doesn't show how.....

We can't do something we don't know how to. If he doesn't show his methods, I am not sure if i believe him.

  • @FoxGlovesMs There are plenty of people who have been thought how, some who have been part of the Nevzorov school (and others of course) but later left for different reasons. You are welcome to join them at the art of natural dressage forums. There are no secrets.

And while I don't really want to defend N, he doesn't even ride himself anymore.

    So there's that.

  • wow..............

  • lurkmore.ru/невзоров

  • Nevzorov is popular liar and ex-reporter in Russia. Never get a word from him. He is super-liar. Politics and church speakers must take lessons from him.

  • This guy is a great spin-doctor. All beautiful photography and soulful soundtracks and Jesus-rays. Underneath all that is a cultish mastermind who is getting simple-minded people all riled up for a 'war against horse-sport'. Meanwhile he has no response to humane and correct horse-training...I feel for all of you, who call him Master. That way lies madness. This is not trust-its circus tricks and good stage design.

  • Ah. I see this discussion is still going on. Folks, it's something on which we'll never agree. There are frauds like this all over the world. This fad, too, shall pass - just like a kidney stone. It'll be really irritating while it's passing, but eventually it'll go. Those of us who produce top-class horses using a bit and training aids KINDLY and JUDICIOUSLY, well, we just stand back and shake our heads. And we don't drink the CoolAid. It's straight tooth-rotting sugar, after all.

  • @ArtDoran you should know that Nevzorov is a liar , he is so secretive because he cant show the world how he trains , because he beats horses , horse anfter hes beaten he would do EVERYTHING just to dont get more !! Its is NOT possible without even a Halter , I watched people doing that with just a halter and reins , but lets be real , its not possible !

  • @larcya i dont agree with you on that because there are many horsemanshippers who can do that to with their horses. and if he would beat his horses than they would never be so relaxed and trustfull. so i think it is possible! and do you have any proof that he beats his horses? the only thing that i bielieve is that he buys hiqh trained dressage horses and that's why he does it so well.

sorry for my poor english i'm dutch

  • В какой школе эти люди учили русский язык?

  • A pleasure to watch those beautiful combinations.

All these things can be learned without bits or spurrs.

@valikoovakh, he is using a whip, didn't you notice that?

I know several people who can let their horse do a piaffe, with only a rope around his neck. And he hasn't learned it before with spurrs or ropes.

My horse isn't that trained as these horses are, but I will get there someday.

I can steer with only a rope around his neck and a whip to point at the right direction.

  • @Slofzombietje The only real spectacular thing he does is the extraordinary collection of the horse with no halter or bit...The rest I can do too...But the collecting...That's hard...

  • Everytime people watch something like this they always write bad comments because they don't know what's behind all this, they just presume. It's like saying that all people who rides with bridles just do it because they don't have any control over their horse at all. I think Alexander is talented and why should he travel all over the world to learn other people what he does? NHE is all about to understand your horse and the horse inviting you to join. Bah, no more space to write more.

  • i am a goat and dog man, horse aint much different to me.(just bigger dog as far as i can tell).. if it is comming to you already broken, in then , you can show for it.(praise the trainer who broke them).. the real task is making a connection, that is the hard part, he has done well, but i can't say much more since this isn't my world of knowledge..........good video though.

  • I am reading all NHE literature including Anthology where all articles of Alexander are published and, believe me, there is nothing like you say here. Alexander does not like herds really, he prefers very small group of horses for 24/7. Look for the table on his webpage

  • Lovely vid I like this a lot!

  • He said: "Any herd or herd-like horse management is int...erdicted. Besides the rebuilding of the horse's entire musculature, herd living makes a horse very primitive and stupid, and returns the horse to the world of primitive ideas and manners. From the School's point of view, herd keeping seems to be akin to sheep breeding" and "Equine education in this School (as well as true human education) is first of all the psychological process of weaning the creature from its animal nature."

  • You don't need a bit to get violent to a horse. You can also be mentally violent to a horse. Well, I wish I could do that with my horse, but without his methods. Does anyone made a research on him? Maybe you should. Maybe you read the rules of this method, the rules HE wrote down! (fix the broken link) artofnaturaldressage _dot_ com/forum/viewtopic _dot_ php?f=7&t=1652 to understand why I don't want to be like that!

  • @Sadylike if you're violent to a horse, its gonna lose its respect for you, and do you think you can work with a horse that doesnt have respect for you and trust you? No..

  • @Maniamanea Did you've read my post and did you undestand that? Of course it need respect and trust, but do you really think you can get this with solitary confinement and addictive to its attachment figure? By isolating and constraining in its movement to get the level of frustration and aggression to figure that kind of collection out? Sounds like an anomality of stockholm syndrom, hm? No, that's not the way I prefere. Did you've read the TREATISE ON THE WORK IN HAND, it's all written down ...

  • woowww,, this man is good

  • Seems that we have a collection of people with anger issues looking for a likely target. Nevzorov is not the only one who's investigating another way of relating to horses. People should read Imke Spilker's book Empowering Horses. There's a revolution going on in everything we do that relates to the natural world. And as for horses...there are a host of horse people that are leading the way to change. But as with anything...there will be resistance before there is acceptance.

  • I thought whats his face thought riding was soooo cruel?! Why is he riding? And he doesn't actually train.. He buys already trained pro dressage horses (that have been trained in bits) and pretends that he MAJIKALLY trained them!

  • @TheRachiRay Good to see someone else actually did some research on this fraud. Yes, he does buy all ready trained dressage horse then trains them his way and claims he did it all himself. Fraud.

  • @Karyn64 Actually he saved his chestnut mare from neglect and then trained her. So don't go making assumtion if you dont know whats going on. Also you are probably just jealous that you will never have the love or patience to do what he does.

  • @eglegiggles Jealous? Of how much money he is making of off gulliable people such as yourself maybe. So you *assume* everything he says is true?? Sorry but teaching a horse tricks (and that is what he teaches) just is not something I'm interested in and love and patience have nothing to do with it. How about the domination the horse feels when he has it laying on it's back sitting on it? Think that horse enjoys that?

  • @TheRachiRay It's nice to knw someone else has done their research on this fraud:)

  • @TheRachiRay No, there is the iron-free Pro-school "Haute Ecole" in France, and he is a part of it. The root of this technique in the tradition of American Indians "domadores de la Palabra" (The Horse Whisperer). And he is not the only one. Look for Martin Hardoy for example, and don't post a rubbish...

  • @valikoovakh

I am not posting rubbish. How could someone possibly train a horse to jump straight up in the air or rear if they didn't first use bits, whips, rope, spurrs. And there is no such thing as a "horse whisperer" They are trainers, NH trainers. They don't whisper things to the horses. They listen to the horse and study it, the horses own language. Not whispering....

  • @TheRachiRay

Sources on that would be nice, other than the usual back talking.

Perst is one of the horses he owned before he started the school. That horse is indeed trained on a bit. He claims his black horse isn't. Not more than any other horse at least. And it doesn't really matter since there are plenty of people out there who use his and similar methods and get somewhat the same results. So something is working at least.

  • I'm a parelli student,and I ride my horse with spurs and bit!OMG I'm a liar!!

    Parelli is using a bit.SO WHAT?Horsemanship is a lie if don't or can't do.

We can ride whitout a bit and we ride a horse with a bit. That is the true and big difference.I don't pluck my horse mouth when I use the bit.Don't even touch it.

Western bits are an ornament.Begginers use it others show it:)XD

  • Why He or any other horsmanship trainer a liar??Because he don't use "tools" to ride a horse?Wich is the easiest way? This or the others?Every horse lover or rider lies to him/herself who thinks that the only correct riding is to use a bit and a saddle..That is the easiest way.The harder but succesful way is this kind of riding.Try this and it shows you that you lie to yourself that you can do horseriding..

  • there are no riders i could watch for hours... i thought... but i was wrong ! you and your horses are one soul. you were the first one i said : nothing... you made me speechless !

  • This is absolutely amazing!! He can do the piaffe and passage and pirouette better than most riders who use bits and spurs do! Wow i am in awe. And i love how the horse carries his head perfectly without the use of a bridle which shows that the perpendicular head carriage is a natural position for horses who are collected.

  • This is amazing. Really! :D

  • I get the chills every time I se this video....there is so much beauty that I cant describe it...and who cares how he does it, just enjoy it !!

  • True beauty......The most wonderful video I have ever seen with horeses and there rider ;0)

  • WOW

  • wow! these horses are very well trained! i hope i can teach mine some of these things too!

  • Stunning!!! Anyone who says hes a fraud is just jealous they can't establish this type of a relationship with their horse (s).

  • whatever, he trains them with bits and spurs. anyone who thinks i am lying can ask for pictures. i'll send them

  • i fell free when i watch this i wish i could do this with my horse XxX

  • wow, its amazing how you just dance with the horses!!! especially the fact that everything is made without bits is wonderful! and still the horses are looking so great, the heads in the right position, i really really love it!

  • In any discipline there are those that abuse a horse to perform, and those who work hard and lay good foundations in training. A saddle and a bit don't have to be abusive; in the hands of a good trainer/rider they are communication tools. A person who uses a bit is not instantly a demon. It is also possible to get excellent results without a bit, IT JUST TAKES MORE SKILL. That doesn't mean that someone who can do this is a fraud, they are just exceptional.

  • I don't get it! How is it possible that there are people who after seeing this still defend the use of bits. Poore horses, poore world.

  • @MrGodgirl When used correctly bits won't do any harm. A lot of the time they're required too. Although this display of riding is much more beautiful and gentle, it's not practical in the professional equestrian world.

  • @MrGodgirl he's a fake

  • dit is een leuke fideo

  • Ah yes, cynics are everywhere. You're right Karyn64, I would like to see his training methods too. However, lets say he does use bits, spurs, martingales, double bridles, etc,...my response is-so what! What famous "guru" doesn't use devices, and if his end product removes these "devices," more power to him. I see too many people hyperflex with a snaffle bit, and still cannot get a good working trot. Give me a break.

  • @pvo58 it's not the fact that he does, its the fact he's a liar and hides it. I don't care about "gurus" we are talking about a liar,in the horse world, a hypocrite which everyone who knows the truth about hates. At least a guru is known for living by his advice. This man gives none. Karyn gave me pics of him a while ago,and I have them if you need to see them

  • exactly! We can't see how he train - we see only the final effect. I'm sure he is not so tender at all! Hooks in musclues, weights on legs and so on!

  • MY NEW IDOL

  • Félicitations ... congratulations ... chapeau bas l'artiste !

ça fait tout simplement rêver ... et les moments ou le cheval est en liberté à la fin de la vidéo sont tout simplement époustouflants ...

    Quelle complicité !

  • I found something interesting. Look up a video called AntiNevzorov.

Then wait and see how fast his followers run to defend him.

  • Und alles ohne Sporen !!

  • fuck that's amazing!! waw!! love it!

  • Is there a book on this because I would love to learn how to coexist with horses like that this is what horsemanship should be

  • Check out Carolyn Resnick. She has a blog with plenty of information on how to coexist with horses and free information on groundwork exercises to enjoy a supple soft and willing horse. Nothing comes quickly, but well worth the time and dedication it takes to achieve this kind of relationship.

  • simply amazing! *__*

  • wow..

    Wonderful.

The music remindes me of the film "Black Beauty".

    I don't know why.. :)

I think you ride better than any person I' ve ever seen..

    (My english isn't so good)

  • In a better saner world, this is how horses and riders would compete.

If the world made sense, the HIGHER the level of competition, the LESS tack would be used.

The way things are now, I'd be thrilled just to see an upper-level rider ride without a flash noseband. What is so impressive about FORCED obedience? How did we come to this?

This guy should be given the Noble Peace Prize for showing we CAN co-exist with horses without force and coercion.

  • @janewiedlintv

Maybe he should also show people how he trains, hold clinics, classes, let people come watch him train. But he doesn't do any of that and his devoted cult like followers don't have the sense to question why he is so secretive,

Want to see a few photos of him riding with a bit and the cordeo with his logo in the background? He's a liar and a fraud laughing all the way to the bank.

  • @Karyn64 You know there was a video up of ohotos he was a fake but can't find it now? Wonder what happened to them? The video was titled Anti-Nevzorov if I remember correctly.

  • @horsesandjesus

I remeber you telling me about that a while back but I have not been able to find it either. Everything about this guy is so secretive it's creepy.

  • @horsesandjesus

I found it. It's called AntiNevzorov. Very interesting pictures.

  • @Karyn64 I'm not a follower of nevzorov, but lets stick to facts. he stopped riding with a bit 10 years ago, and there are pictures of when he used a bit. about 2 years ago he stopped riding at all.

  • @unicorndream That's not a *fact*. It's you deciding to believe whatever this con spoon feeds you just like the rest of his followers.

  • @Karyn64 I am NOT a follower of his, i do showjumping for gods sake and have never used any of his methods!

  • @unicorndream Then why do you defend him? How can you take his word without question? In his eyes you are a horrible horse abuser because of what you do.

I never showjumped but it looks like fun.

  • @Karyn64 it's hard to judge wether someone you never met is lying or not, so really i just have to take his word for it, and it's not just him that can verify what he says. and yes, showjumping is fun, of all the excercises under saddle my horse enjoys jumping the most, I do not "beat him to jump the damned painted sticks" as nevzorov puts it and he's obviously never had any postive experience of jumping horses!

  • @unicorndream I choose to not believe a word he says and truley believe he is a con laughing all the way to the bank. To many things have pointed me in that direction.

I know some horses love to jump. Same look on in their eyes as mine when facing a cow. Happy horses.

  • @Karyn64

That's easy talk. Show proof. I perfectly understand why he doesn't go public. Just the panda said: the secret is that there is no secret.

  • @SunnyAsMe If he is so *right* and wants people to ride like he does he would show them how. NOT be secretive, How many other trainers/whispers whatever-you-want-to-call-them keep everything a secret? The secret is there is no secret?? Do a little investigating.

  • @Karyn64 he has a university he trains people at, smart one!!!

  • @lukashevsergey Really? Where? What is the website?

  • @lukashevsergey Hmmm....all I could find is his attending Leningrad University. The only *school* is the one he has where no one is allowed to come watch him. Interesting reading on this guy. Pro soviet commie all the way.

  • @Karyn64

    NHE International Seminar 2010

Nevzorov Haute Ecole is proud to announce the 2nd annual International Seminar being presented in Canada, Québec north of Montreal, the weekend of October, 2 and 3.

    /

  • @o0GoddessKali0o "The seminar/workshop is organized this year by the Dean of the online School and Canadian Representative, Cloé Lacroix, and featured speaker is Michael Bevilacqua of Equi-Forme and NHE Worldwide Representative."

    All righty.

  • @Karyn64 NHE (nevzorov haute Ecole) is not secret at all. His training technics is all about friendship, that's how he does all this, riding with just a cordeo and makes the horses to follow him. You can also join the NHE online "school" or forum. But there is a few rules: no bit, no shoes, no spores, no competitions. He doesn't ride with bit, that's why you cant find any photos or videos with him riding with the bit. He is not a liar at all...

  • @Juliiia94 So again I ask....why can't you go watch him instead of just being able to ask certain questions on his site (hope not to get banned if you pry to much)? He trains them to respond to the cordeo using a bit. Want to see a picture of him using a bit and the cordeo with his logo in the background? There is a video of him here on youtube that shows many photos and video of him using bits and spurs. He is a liar and you are biting his hook. Enjoy the taste of bullshit??

  • Comment removed

  • @zrx110099 *I'm *negative* because I won't drink the Kool Aid?? He is a recluse because je doesn't want to people to know how he really trains. How many others trainers do you know that hide all their techniques from everyone?? ...None??? Not one.....just him.

  • Comment removed

  • @zrx110099 Pick a topic and stick with it. AN is a fraud. Deal with it or drink your Kool Aid. Sorry, never heard of hundreds of pros that hide their *secrets like he does. The only dressage riders I have a problem with is those that use rollkur/hyperflexion. Why are you so concerned about defending someone you can't even go have a lesson from?? Hell...you can't even watch him with his horses with out the video edited.

  • Comment removed

  • @zrx110099 It's so easy to get you Kool Aid drinking cultist to get your panties in a wad. LOL thanks for the entertainment:) I guess your little pop gun is out of real ammo??

  • Comment removed

  • @Karyn64 To me it smells like jealousy. You're just jealous and accuses him of fraud because you cant achieve the same thing with your horse. Yes he might ride with a bit some times, but there's nothing wrong with that, if you do it the right way. Its a way to support the horse, strenthen the signals so the horse understand what you want it to do, befor its ready to be trained without a halter.

  • @Maniamanea So anyone who calls this man what he actually is...a fraud...is jealous? That's excuse is getting real old. How about I just call you *clueless* for your lack of educating yourself and beliving everything he spoon feeds you?

I never said *pretend skill* but if you want to use that term I will gladly accept that he has a lot of *pretend skill* when the horses he buys are all ready trained and he claims all the credit.

  • @Karyn64 When it comes to training horses, and animals overall, there's no such thing as "pretend skill". If you know what to do, it will work, if you dont know what to do, it wont work, end of story. There's no such thing as having some kind of deal with the horse, like "if you pretend to work with me, so it looks like im a great horse trainer, i'll give you extra carrots." If the horse dont like you, it wont work with you.

  • @Karyn64 That's not true! He was just teaching clinics here in Canada.

  • @TreasureOne *He* wasn't actually at any of them. Just a represenative.

  • @janewiedlintv You mean the Noble Fraud Prize. These horses are all ready trained when he gets them and he just teaches them to respond to the cordeo while using a bit. There are photos of this. Do you think his horses enjoy laying on their backs while he sits on them? Talk about forced submission! Nothing he does with them is *natural* just *tricks and he's laughing all theway to the bank. Do a little research on this guy. He's quite scarey.

  • @janewiedlintv I think in a saner...or more *horse educated* ..world people would notice the tight jaw and lips, pinned ears, and swishing tails his horses have and know that those are all signs of tension. Most high level dressage horses looked more relaxed than that. I do agree that upper level riders should not need either a flash or crank noseband and should be given the option of riding bitless if they choose. Maybe classes for just bitless?

  • @Karyn64 =)

  • I don't know about having him on his back like that ?

  • wow...

  • wow :o thats AMAZING!

  • woderful agnifics horses!!

  • wonderful, great, very good!

i really don´t know how to say: it´s fantastic! :)

  • theese horses r lucky to be with u!

  • he is so good to horses!i saw all his videos,he is just so great!and he really trys to stop the violence against horses!good guy!!!!!!i was crying when i saw his videos...some of them not easy to see...

  • omg. it is fantasic .

  • I would like to see more action in the hindlegs, but other than that it's simply wonderful. I wish I could ride with only a neckring.

  • omg it is amazing

  • ohh and whats with the clothes??????

  • Yes, 15-10 years ago, yes. It was. He really was training with the bit AT FIRST, and pictures of that time are also known. But the followeres have changed, he has changed their views on it. Only WITHOUT the bit at all this wonderful and powerful true collection can be achievable. And with the bit it will be only simple shortening of the horse - head simply down, rear part simply pushed under the body. Nothing more.

  • Wundervoll!

  • OMG! :D

  • I wish i would be able to train my future horse that way..... i have no words..

  • amasing

  • oh my good i never seen everthing like that ... its so wonderfull........

  • Simply beautifull. Nothing less.

  • Should wish he was my dad, so he could teach me that. and i could have a horse! :-)

  • But even if he is not, you anyway can learn, no:)?

  • Precioso, es de lo mejor que he visto en relación a los caballos..

  • I know this is a truly bizarre comparison but think about the differences between glasses and contacts. personally any pressure on my nose is irritating and will give me a headache so contacts feel better and are therefore more effective. For some contacts are extremely uncomfortable and hurt their eyes...which you use is particular to your needs and preferences.

  • Horses like humans have different preferences. Some horses prefer a light snaffle to a hackamore, or a rope around their neck because they are more irritated by pressure in these other regions. Some horses are extremely ticklish and sensitive around their neck so a hackamore would be far more comf. for them. I believe that it is up to the rider to determine which method is the most comfortable for the HORSE not what WE think is the most natural for them.

  • i completly agree, and as long as bits are used nicely and gently then its all good

  • The clips in this video are just so powerful... whenever I watch it I am blown away.

  • magnifique contact entre le cheval et le cavalier!

    superbe!

  • they r amazing

  • Actually I do think that the use of bits can be cruel and improper. They are horrible things but I sometimes ride in a snaffle and personally I know that I am not cruel to my horse and our bond is strong despite any critisism and accusation that I may encounter from people that hold a different point of view to me.I understand the way you see the use of bits and I agree with you to a certain extent. But where I disagree with you I am polite enough not to jump down your throat about it.

  • A properly fitted bit - is fine. What will determine whether the bit is abusing the horse's mouth or not is the rider's seat.

The expression "good hands" was heard when I was riding as a kid. It was a cardinal sin to pull on a horses' mouth with anything but the "squeezing of a sponge" movement. I'm amazed at how people now haul on horses' mouths. You must have an INDEPENDENT SEAT, which can only be acquired by riding, riding, riding - with no reins, and no stirrups, on a longe line.

  • Comment removed

  • @zrx110099 wtf are you going on about? lmao

  • Comment removed

  • @zrx110099

Nope, it works actually the opposite with horses. Their saliva acts as an Anti-acid. Because they are grazers they need to be eating almost all of the time. So... no that is wrong :)

  • Comment removed

  • @zrx110099

But horses are only ridden 1 hour to 2, and aren't ridden everyday. Horse still salivate when they don't have a bit in their mouth.

  • yes, anything can be cruel,im sure if we all rode with just ropes then there would be people hurting their horses with the ropes too. i personally have nothing against bits, only the people that misuse them

  • Une vraie réussite !!

  • you don't need to attack me. I'm just expressing my opinion. This is just the way I see it.

  • I think the mildest bit is not cruel at all as long as it is used in a kind and gentle manner. By that I mean no pulling or yanking...sometimes they are nessesary to initially form trust between a horse and rider...then later when the trust is established work without a bit can be introduced...I kinda get a bit pissed off when people generalise and say that people who use bits are nasty and abusive etc...like I said a super mild bit is okay when used correctly...i mean if you know what your doin

  • pain, fear of pain from the bit in case of yanking or pulling can NOT form trust in its real notion.

(And if ever you are going to tell me once again that bits are not hurting or have no effect on horse's health and all that bla-bla-bla, READ BETTER SCIENCE FIRST.)

  • any bit can be nice, you can't say that some bits are more cruel than others, there is a diffrence between the horse, and riders.

Personally I ride with and without bits depending on what the horse need, but that doesn't mean that I hurt any of them

  • of course bits differ!! :/

The standart dressage mouthpiece and the western(or just used anywhere) mouthpiece with twisted and high porch

Of course the difference will be!!!!! Why you think those horses under the second bit are so much scared of any movments of the bit inside their mouths......

  • what method of training is used here?

    and what is NHE?

    and what movie thingo?

omg i feel so stupid lol.

i just started clicker training a few months back,

but i doubt it'll go pass basic movements.

    haute ecole? no way.

  • Your right!! bits in a horse mouth are abusing and unfair along with using spurs and a whip. and making them do stuff they dont want to do is beyond cruel!! ive seen the pictures and they break by heart!! I mean it!

  • No need to yell at me!! I dont ride horses for the glamour of it!! i ride because i want to try and better my horsemanship with the horse!! I REALLY REALLY WANT TO BE ONE WITH THE HORSE!!! WHEN I SEE PEOPLE WHIP OR HURT THEIR HORSES IT BREAKS MY HEART!! I HATE IT!!

  • speedreader, in the USA. Google Pat Parelli and look at some of his work. He is an excellent communicator and master horseman. His teaching can help you develop what you are seeking without getting you killed. Also in your area look for an older talented horseman who might trade labor for lessons. There is no short easy path to this level of performance. This is like any other discipline, you grow old and die trying to improve. Today there are many teachers who will help you.

  • Wanting to learn everything i can!!! I want/wish the horse i ride to be wanting and willing to jump and work because they want not because they have to !! Mainly i just want them to be happy!! My mare mostly because she is the most trouble out of all the horses i have owned and the most tempermental as well!! the other horse i take care of are great but i still wish to have that kind of bond and trust with them as well!! wishing for advice and tips! thanks so much!!

  • If you really want to achieve all what you said in the previous comment - THROW AWAY all bits and hours-long "riding for pleasure", "beautiful" dressage, "fascinating" jumping and "so wished" cups FAR FAR AS FAR AS you CAN.... You will only get maimed horses, mentally and physically....... Unless you still beleive in that glamour sh..t that bits do never hurt horses and riders have "soft" hands, you maybe can try..(to achieve what you said).

  • (this sound weird) i want to be the lead mare who communicates with the band through body language as well!! my dream is to create a better world for horses and to form a lasting trust and bond with my mare and the other two horse i help ride and take care of!!

  • Hey sky!! some tips would be great, because i want to learn how to do this and be able to ride and jump my horse and another horse that i ride with out a bridle or a hackamore.

  • Thanks so much for responding!! some tips would be really helpfull because i really want to learn and have my horse trust me and me trust her!! Thanks

  • how do you get a horse to trust you like that!! Needing advice!!!! Please tell me how to do that!!!

  • it takes years of cummunication and its more practice to the rider than the horse, I could tell you some tips if you want on how to get a good start. You learn how to truly cummunicate with body language like a wild lead mare would. Its actually very simple I thought I was an idiot on some tricks horses due to cummunicate everyday and I didnt even think of it!

  • It realy, really, reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyy takes a lot of time and trust. It's really difficult and frustrating sometimes (for us humans), but time and patience gave me 1000 times more pleasure then fast results. Maybe it will help you if I tell you this; Always focus on the good things and praise your horse for it.

  • @speedreader104 paintinghorse (dot) wordpress (dot) com may be a good place to start. The author goes into detail about how and why she began training her horses without pressure etc, and the methods are simple and kind. Good luck!

  • Watching this video is like having Professor Paul Chance's book ,Learning and Behavior, coming alive right before our eyes. Science has long known that positive reinforcement works better than punishment , with mountains of research proving it .

  • that first comment of mine, was for NarwhalMickey. i just cant figure out how to reply to a certain post :/

  • Collection is possible with nothing on the horses head because it all comes from the seat

  • the horse would not collect itself with you just sit on her back....

It's a long and complecated process demanding perfect and TRUE contact, trust, and understanding, from both sides
