The past is gone ,moaning over past atrocities changes nothing and serves no real purpose, other than guilt tripping.,what are we doing about people now in bondage-where are those willing to help them?

im white, and i dont condone the stuff that happened. if i were alive then i wouldnt have agreed with any of what went on. i go to a school that has a majority of white students in it and the teacher who is teaching us about the cruelty of the slave trade is also white.

Thats something white people know nothing about. Oh yes, the western world + china / japan, some asiatic countries are the only ones affected. Africa+middle east is in economic acceleration... meaning growing economy... So is some parts of Latin America... Rest of the world is in economic slowdown. You obviously are not an economist so you can debate my facts...
Oh btw, white people didnt start enslaving, we Africans started enslaving, white people mastered it thou...

Never gonna learn in white schools our true history, that we are fathers of all civilization. Why would the whites, who raped and murdered us for 400+ years, teach that? White people dont work like that...

then learn it yourself , your not taught that most of the slavers were blacks either or about hundred years of white slavery on the barbary coast , or about the rape and murder that has followed in the wake of indepdance in every african country , the only successfull countrys in africa was rhodiesa & south africa , and the same thing happend in when the blacks took over , the leaders either killed any body who stood in there way or looted the central bank, grow up.

@Farakhshaneet you know the great thing about reading books? its that you avoid saying ignorant onesided things about religion. i am proud of my muslim African ancestors and their accomplishments. but i am also proud of the Ethiopian Christian ancestors in Africa too. however history shows that despite the many accomplishments muslims in west africa achieved they also were one of the major facilitators for the trans-atlantic slave trade. we have to look at all history not just parts we like.

@NubianPrince8 But they won't.All they want is to see Africans and Africans Americans not to get along. Many slaves were captured not sold. But they want everyone to believe that they were sold by africans. Lot of kids were captured during rituals.

@fatimah1959 I agree. I make it my business to know my history, Some people just want to sweep it under the rug and forget about it. I can't do that. A lot of blacks don't know who they are or where they came from, its more important to sell dope, shake your ass and make your booty clap and smoke weed all day.
