Very nice work. I am into music creation myself but I want some hardware to aid me in this. I just have a keyboard hooked up by midi to a computer to make my music. So I want to know which you think I should start off with. The EMX-1 or the RS-7000? I want to know which to buy first so I can have a better time producing instead of using a mouse to change everything on my setup. Plus it is better than a laptop in my opinion for live use and production.

This is one of the best demos I have seen for the EMX-1. I have one as well, and I will never sell it. Incredibly versatile machine with HUGE sound capabilities, vacuum tube warmth, and it can be had for less than $300, used. My main complaint is the reverb, it is very brittle, not smooth at all. The ES-1 and EM-1 had much better reverb.

I saw this video a few years ago, and used it to convince the wife I needed an EMX (even after owning an aresenal of other electribes) 2 years later, I still love it but can't understand the arpegiator setting so you can play it live like this, I set arp to reverse and have the slider knob to the top, but still get different results, can you help a bruther out

Thats pretty much it, arp to reverse, slider at top, I am also changing the tuning of the oscillator to get more of a pitch range. Hope that helps.

I'd go for the EMX (already did). To my knowledge the EMX and ER are not THAT far apart in terms of beats - overhand to EMX i'd say.

But EA doesnt have as many synth parts as the EMX (2 vs 5 i think), nor is it as evolved in terms of options. Here i mean the amount of OSC possibilities including the PCM samples the EMX sports.

I know i love mine.

I don't have any videos on Youtube because :

1) I release my music on I-tunes/Beatport etc.therefore i feel no need to give it away for free.

2) The sound quality on Youtube is horrendous. It does not do a producer's justice, especially when one spends an incredible amount of time on crafting tracks that sound good in the club.

3) I am not interested in posting videos of my MUSIC. Music is made to be listened to. There is nothing in what i do that is worth watching. Are YOU worth watching?
