Actually, applying heat to your hair when it has not been washed AND it's greasy/oily causes more damage to your hair than when it is normal. I know you're not suppose to style your hair until the next day it has been washed but that's what i do and if i wait 2 days more then it will get extremely oily.

@92shopaholic Well certain cultures do that. Like african americans. I wash my hair every week. Whites are actually only supposed to wash their hair every now and then. If you do it everyday, that's kinda bad for your hair. Unless you have extremely oily hair...

@extraordinarilyEnna actually i thought this too but african americans are actually suppossed to wash every two week, if your a person that oils your scalp..it kinda bad to give your hair what it needs (ie. oil) and then take it a way so quickly, its better to give it time to settle.

hair curls better when its DRY not oily try just washing your hair with shampoo no conditioning. AND DO NOT PUT HAIRSPRAY ON BEFORE CURLING... you could seriously damage your hair and use a heat protection spray before curling or applying any heat.

@somethinkme It's actually quite unhealthy to wash hair every day =/ and depending on the texture of your hair, it could be quite damaging. Straighter hair tends to get oily faster than naturally curly hair.
