it gives a good insight in Potter's emotional life. I only think that it doesn't reflect the total Potter. The man who also criticizes religion, abuse of power, individual souvereignity as opposed to tiranny of the powerful. That connection isn't being totally shown or made very explicit. Nevertheless, a reasonable introduction to Potters work
i am a huge dennis potter fan, i studied him for my dissertation and am still not bored of him or the works. i must have seen SD about 15 times and i still find something new in it. x
I've always loved his sublime work (even as a child)...and continue to do so...it's TV drama of this quality that is now so thoroughly lacking...that his brilliance shines through ever stronger....over time.
