Even after watching this I'm having so much trouble writing the essay. I'm applying early decision, and REALLY want to go to W&M - it's my dream school. But I've always been taught to write formally - distinct thesis, rigid structure, and that doesn't work for this. >.< Does anyone have tips, or can anyone help me?! I'm truly lost and in panic mode at this point.

I've been preparing to apply to colleges, and this is the first time it hasn't seemed like I would just be a number entered into a computer to see if my grades, community service hours, awards, etc. match up.

I have two kids at WM right now. Both are conservative and Christian. They have not found the school to be either whacko liberal or anti-Christian. It is a public university and there is room for a lot of different beliefs there. I'm thankful for such a great school for my kids!

An educated mind gives you not only opinions but facts and methods which shape your opinions. Therefore an outright statement is certainly not a sign of one being uneducated. However, I do not care for this conversation and was merely expressing my right to speak. If you are disgusted at that, let it be. However I have expressed my opinion and wish to take it no further. I can still peacefully knowing that religion is on the decline.

I would like to add that people of other religions think the same way about their own religion. And I'm sorry to break it to you, but Christianity is a religion. And religion's foundation is faith, so you're not entirely wrong. Sadly, many Christians believe religion is Christianity and not Christianity is a religion
