  • an good

  • really goo

  • They don't sound any different than the 80's...better, even. More emotion in this version

  • Luv this kick ass band!

  • I got 2 c them and journey in concert! When it comes 2 music my parents brought me up the right way! and this is my No. 1 fav band tied wth fleetwood mac and the beatles

  • What a voice!

  • ann and nancy just kick ass!!!!!!!!!

  • Ann Wilson's voice is still incredible!!! No better female rock singer on this planet........!

  • Ann Wilson's voice has gotten a little raspy and she isn't hitting the high pitches she used to hit years ago, but she is still AWESOME. and I still love HEART. Go girls!!

  • Heart still has it. Reminds me of parties I went to in the seventies. Go Girls!!!

  • A voice of gold! ...Just like a fine wine, it only gets better with age! The greatest female rock n roll voice of all time!......"Jagar"

  • Fantastic performance of pretty much the most badass love song ever.

  • Yes, Heart does some wonderfully nice things for their fans. I flew my cousin down from San Francisco for this show. It was all live raw and powerful. I've actually heard Ann in better voice recently than during this show, which says so much considering how good she was here, but hearing Dreamboat Annie from start to finish was like out of a dream since I heard my older brother play it so much when I was a little boy,

  • such a classic could listen to this all day.

  • Anyone want to tell me as to why there are glass or maybe plastic walls around the drum set? I've noticed it somewhere else before, and don't know what those walls are for. People throw stuff?

  • @guitarguy940 Drums are loud. The plastic is to keep the drums from throwing off the rest of the band and causing deffness. Also it helps with the overall sound - drums are loud - usually louder than the rest!

  • @guitarguy940 Drums are loud, usually causing sound issues, The plastic is there to cut the sound problems, and to not make the rest of the band deff.

  • Thursday Night, 7:PM. Front Row. Can't wait<33.

  • This is probably one of my all time favorite Heart songs. I absolutely love the way the drums are played.

  • Please marry me Nancy!!!!

  • Thanks for posting this video. Amazing. Do you hear what Ann does with the chorus at 5:04. She changes it up and lifts the vocal into another register, when most vocalists her age (I'm looking at you, Robert Plant) are taking it down, and by doing so actually gives the song a different, but equally amazing sound. To be able to do that shows how she is still has it, after all these years. AMAZING!

  • Thank you so much for this post. This is the only live version I've seen on youtube that includes my favorite instrumental part, at 3:55. All other live clips show them ending the song before that.

  • What is up with the lead guitarist? Really sounds novice (especially the beginning).

  • 4:06 goosebumps!

  • @postretta I feel ya postretta! I forgot how much i loved them until i saw this vid. I remember my parents having a ton of their albums when i was a kid.

  • heart in stl soon i wish i could be there :(

  • fuckin awsome!! ANN AND NANCY FUCKIN KICK ASS !!!!

  • What kind of Tele is that that Nancy plays? I've seen her play it many a time.

  • all the new bands suck...glad groups like Heart are still around to show them up

  • Lead guitar at the beginning is horrible. Lack of soul what so ever.

  • The Moog takes it to the next level.

  • Truly two rock goddesses!!

  • Ann Wilson rules

  • Ann Wilson, Suzie Demarchi, Quattro, Melissa Etheridge, Joan Jett and Kim Deal are the all time greatest rock chicks!!!

  • @jarrodcarter1 you forgot lita ford!

  • Ann, you are the proper rock chick! forget Avril, Courtney and Fergie...you make them all piss!

  • rightous

  • 10 STARS!!!

  • With most singers their voice deteriates pretty quickly with age. Not Ann, she just gets better !

  • better than never

  • These ladies sound better now than they did 30 years ago. Well done. Superb.

  • The talented and lovely ladies of Heart were my 1st concert experience over 20 yrs.ago.Incredibly they still sound as good as they did back then.TY for being role models for my generation.

  • i cant believe this is the first time i ever got to listen to this great song. wow is all i got to say

  • I have to agree with you ommylink, they are great and i wonder how i wasn't aware of this song before.

  • Great song ladies; great memories as well. You're still a pleasure to the eyes & ears.

  • Many of the seventies bands that have reunited to try and relive their heydays are just sad reflections. The Wilson sisters, on the other hand, have actually improved both Ann's vocals and Nancy's playing. I saw them in the seventies and the show was anything but disappointing, but I think I would enjoy today's sound even more.

  • I saw them in concert back in the late 70's seven times! I was a teenager and wanted to be just like Nancy Wilson - I played guitar. Nancy has gotten SO much better both in her guitar playing and her singing! Heart still rocks!

  • wait a minute in the describion it says 'we' played so im curios

  • What happened with the melody in todays song? I'm not saying the styles must be changed, but listen to this melody and listen to the crappy melody lines they write today. Huts off to heart

  • BRAVISSIMO !!! VERY VERY GOOD

  • Holy Moly.Heart is all Heart

  • I think that her voice is even better now then back in the day! So what? She's overweight. Who the fuck is so fuckin perfect out there? I just lost 13 pounds on a vegetarian diet with natural juices. All of a sudden I became "attractive". people tell me.

  • ann and nancy are still fuckin' awesome

  • awesome show at the spencer fair september 18

  • wow you still sound like you did back in the 70s

  • Just got tix to see you in Puyallup on 23 September -- CAN'T WAIT!!!

  • In my own little fantasy world, i'd love to see a one night show with Jerry Cantrell on the guitar with these amazing ladies. Not only would his guitar work be amazing but his vocals with Ann and Nancy would be one for the ages.

  • That actually already happened: I saw them & Jerry on TV once performing "Rock 'N Roll" by Led Zeppelin as well as several Alice In Chains numbers & other assorted Heart songs. So, hate to burst yer bubble, but they've already "Been there, done that.". However, knowing them, they probably wouldn't rule out doing it again sometime. Anyways, just thought I'd let'cha know, and laters!

  • And it totally ruled

  • I always found this song kind of so-so on the album release, but man it's a completely different song when played live, definitely one of my favourites

  • OMG!

Can't believe I found your site on here!

    Amazing ~ As Ever

  • Simply amazing. Thanks for posting, it brought back a lot of memories.

  • I was at this concert, they held it for their fans only, no tickets, after playing the entire album, they gave a 6 or 7 song encore. Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson are a magical combo, this show was an incredible time.

  • You are SOOO lucky to have had a chance to be there for this! VERY cool!

  • @ocsound1 really ?

  • @ocsound1 At the concert, you lucky barstard , mate

  • I am eighteen years old!! You girls rock you are one of my favorite bands!!

  • Good God ! I had forgotten about ye two. Still looking and sounding great girls. Excellent stuff !

  • great song heart

  • that's what i like even after 20 or 30 years the true artist still makes the diffrent!!!!!! 5/5!!

  • shes frum Vancouver

  • Isn't Ann Wilson like 60 yrs. old these days?

Voice still holds up well.........not quite her peak years in the 70's and 80's.........but still powerful.

  • OUCH actually she is 58.

  • This song rocks when they perform it live

I love how they always perform their older songs with more power in it during live shows. Songs like this one and barracuda

    great rock band

  • I'm the biggest Heart fan on earth...grew up with 'em in the 70's. It doesn't get any better than Ann and Nancy..."Straight On" baby... 55 is the new 25! Ha!

  • Fuck this song is so cool, in every carnation, in every year..doesn't matter. I think behind every Led Zeppelin song, this song is the best song of the 70s. It has the best breakdown ever...the talent and dynamic of the Wilson Sisters just can't be matched. Long live Heart!

  • i love love love this song

  • ANN WILSON IS GODDESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ann was probably saying that because at the time the band was Canadian based (in Vancouver)..however they were the the daughter's of a U.S. Marine Army captain and grew up in Southern California, Taiwan and finally Seattle, Washington

  • No Ann and Nancy are definately American.. They moved to Vancouver B.C. in the early/mid 70's and were based there for awhile so alot of people mistakenly believe they're Canadian..but they're not McTalks..Google Ann and Nancy Wilson and read they're Bio if you dont beleive me

  • still sound great

  • i LOVE them

  • She's the voice of an angel!

  • heart>>heart>.theyve always got my heart,,,

  • So much talent comes from Seattle!

  • They're not from Seattle, they're from Vancouver B.C.

  • But didn't they grow up in Seattle?

  • Wilson sisters born in San Diego and San Francisco - AW would've been in her 20s when she moved to Canada from Seattle to follow Mike Fisher

  • Actually they're an American band Ann and Nancy are from Seattle but they got their break when they signed to a small Vancouver based label called Mushroom records back in 75 so alot of people think they're Canadian but they arent. Also they moved to vancouver for awhile in the mid 70's and played alot of clubs around both Vancouver and Seattle

  • If you watch another version of Magic Man from 1976, Ann says they are Canadian.

  • They were definitely born is USA but were based in Canada for quite a while. Have a look at the Wikipedia entry and it covers it all. You're right about the '76 Magic Man video though

  • Great Canadian band from Vancouver!!!!

  • Ahh...those good old high school days!

  • 30 years later and still wauw

  • I love you Nancy!!

  • I love you Ann Wilson!

  • would give a lung to be one of your backup vocalists!!!!!! DAMN, girls you both STILL got it!!!!!!!

  • Ann is the best! However, I'm not crazy about this new lead guitarist at all. He almost ruins the intro on this..it doesn't sound right. Take a look over the years at Magic Man videos. I don't believe this guy comes close to Howard Leese or Roger Fisher

  • @Clrockorl his name is craig bartok

  • The best female rock vocalist, EVER. You fuckin' rule. I'd kill to play with a vocalist as talented. Thank you

  • We are simply not worthy Queen Ann. But we are happy that you still grace us with your presence anyway. Ann and Nancy Wilson you have brought so many so much joy throught the years..expecially me!! Merry Christmas xx00xx

  • god ann is amazing. this is one of the best rock bands ever. nancy rocks on that guitar!

  • Just today I heard Ann didn't want to do Sing Child Sing for this show, she just felt it was a little to much of a Bar song,so apparently Nance re-worked it to everyones delight and it Rocked!
