I have a HP laptop like that but its the high end version and it has a webcam 2 mics and all that its not that laptop exactly its got a bigger screen but its still a DV series i like it alot it works and runs really smooth but i cant say that for that model. =)

Can't trust HP's battery life. I have had my HP HDX16 for almost 3 months now and the battery only lasts for about an hour or so. When I first got it, the battery was slightly longer. Horrible battery life...

to get the internet on it you will need to get a modem or a wireless modem. you go to start click on connect to and you will see the wifi modem. click on net work if you dont have wireless modem. hope you have fun on your new laptop

yeah i think you should, so far i've only had the overheating issue but thats because i keep it on like 24/7 , lol, besides that its pretty cool , i've had it for almost a year, yeah i do get wireless internet, you just scan it for available ones and just select the one you want and connect ,thats it :)
