@m5boarddotcom - my buddy in Hong Kong got a black G55 AMG and it a 5.5 litre, supercharged V8 from AMG....can't be too different from the SLR...as it also has a supercharged 5.5 litre V8 branded by AMG...

@m5boarddotcom The G55 AMG comes with the SL55 AMG engine, the SLR engine is a different engine although it started life as the SL engine it was tweaked and tuned by McLaren :)

@KarlGoth Mt friend Timothy got a G55 for his 19th Birthday last March (yea mega-loaded Asian kid), and under the hood on the decorative engine cover it says Supercharged AMG 5.5.

If you even go on the Merc website it says the G55 comes outta the box with a supercharged 5.5L V8. So I dunno whats going on man....

The front end reminds of the Lamborghini LM002 truck from the 80's. Very similiar styling cues. Way too much carbon fiber on the dashboard. Looks like Saran Wrap covering the dash. Seems distracting!

but then again, the carbon fiber seat backs look too nice to hide with some monitors.
