It's the same thing as regular Kingdom Hearts 2 but with some changes like a new Keyblade,the option to fight CoM (Chain of Memories) Organization XIII members,new abilities,New outfit for Sora when he goes to Christmas Town,and the option to fight Terra,a person from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

It's a new ability to KH2FM that makes it so the player does not level up. So, yeah. He DOES use abilities and items. If he didn't then he'd have to take QUITE a few tries to beat, if not impossible.

I completed this challenge before, and one thing I could never really figure out is if you deal more damage faster at this point of the game if your in mid air attacking or if your on the ground

It really depends where you are in the game, and what boss. At this point in the game midair attacks are faster, but probably not a big difference in damage. Midair attacks are the key to beating TT with no damage

Usually if you fail an RC at all at level 1 it's a death, but this being the first boss fight it might be just a high % of HP

Get swapmagic, type it into google. Imports won't play unless you mod your PS2.

Backwards compatibility won't bypass region lock, although I've heard some early PS3s werent region locked, if you know your version or have your box still you might be able to find out, I can't confirm this.

is this challenge harder then KH2 proud mode low level challenge? because I did the proud mode challenge low level without dying even once, though I did practice the fights on beginner mode to get the attack patterns down before trying it on proud mode. Also congrats on beating sephiroth at level 1 (diffrent video) I did it on level 36 proud mode but it was pretty tough took me roughly 1 week of fighting him to get the attack patterns down XD.

You can't really compare proud mode to critical mode, it's a whole nother level of difficulty, especially since there are so many new boss fights.

If you go onto your critical game mode now and look at the health bar when fully healed you cant see a black bar but on this if you look at 3:12 you can see a slight black part, so you took damage

I'm trying to do this myself (for quite a different reason though...)

But when it sticks it's head into the ground, you can do a combination of running around the head, getting a quick combo in, and then luring the creeper aways to get another combo in, leading to another combo opportunity. But that in itself is tricky.

For a no-hit, it's risky as hell, but can speed up the process immensely (possibly skipping the need for another set of those RCs.)
